Alpinestars S-MX 2 Boots

Not bad walking around in for a couple hours at a time. WAY better than just a riding style shoe but more practical than a full boot for daily riding. Easy to get on and fit snug. Order one size smaller than what you are in most other shoes though. I'm a size 10 and a size 9 fits me perfect.

These boots are great. They have a really good feel on the pegs and shifter. They are also very comfortable. I will be buying another our when these wear out.

Great boot! Very stylish and almost casual looking boot with a great fit and feel. I followed the advice of others and bought a size smaller than I usually wear. I wear a size 11.5 running shoe and I bought the size 45 Alpinestars. I'm glad because they are perfect. I'm considering buying an extra pair just in case they stop selling them by the time I need a new pair.

After a almost a season of riding with them, these boots are still holding up great. My only complaints are that on warm (I live in Alaska and it only gets up to about 70) days, my feet get very hot. Especially if I get off the bike and walk around at all. Also, when it is raining, the moisture tends to seep in through the vents. This leads me to think the vents are more or less useless on them. Had I known this I might have gotten the waterproof version. They run large. I ordered a size down and they fit pretty well. I probably would have at least tried going down another size if they had my size in stock at the time I purchased them. They break in fast and seem to offer good support and protection for a low cut boot. I personally think they look pretty good. They are a clean and simple style. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

I bought these as my first riding boots and I love them after 2 months of riding. They are very comfortable and had a short break in period. Sizing was as others have described. The only negative I could say is they aren't the most stylish shoes/boots in person.

If you consider buying this boot, you may want to order the size on the chart and one size down. Return the one that does not fit. I am a 10, ordered 44s and my foot was swimming in the boot. Returned the 44s and the 43s fit great! The end result is a happy customer. Very comfortable and people comment on the style. Motosport exchange was an easy procedure. The boot cost extra because of the return but this happens when you shop the internet!

Awesome boots! They give security and protection and you can still fell whats going on. (you can feel the shifter) The ONLY Problem is the sizing!!!! I wear a size 12 shoe so I ordered a size 12 off the size chart at AP stars. They were to big, a better size would have been about 2 sizes smaller.

I've never owned riding boots before, preferring the shifter feel and ankle flexibility I got from leather sneakers. Some recent foot scraping incidents got me thinking more about better foot protection. I liked the look of these low-cut, A-stars and picked up a pair about 2 months ago. I've logged about 700 miles with them and couldn't be more impressed. Right out of the box, the Alpinestars quality was evident. The materials, stitching and workmanship are outstanding. The heel, ankle and toe protection is as solid as you'll get short of a true racing boot. I don't know what the sole material is but I do know that they don't slip off my bike's round, aluminum pegs. They feel great on my feet, don't make them sweat, and give me the great shifter feel and ankle flexibility that I wanted. Pretty comfortable for walking too. Another great feature is that these don't use laces. They secure with a side zipper that's covered with a velcroed flap and can be tightened with a top strap on an adjustable buckle. Very easy to get them on & off quickly and feel very secure. Overall, a great boot that won't disappoint. The service and best price I got from Motosport.com was an added bonus!
