You get what you pay for.
First, off, order a bit larger for your size, because I have found that these tend to run a little small, as with all Alpinestars products. Second, DON'T ORDER. Seriously, the build quality of this glove is almost some kind of a cruel joke to someone putting money out for it. In under 50 miles of riding, I noticed that the stitching that holds that "armor" in place started to come out in small spots, but it then spread to most of the entire glove. Now, with about 300 miles of use, it looks like I have had these gloves for over a few years now! I will give the gloves props for air flow and comfort in the palms, but that is it. If there was a problem initially with the gloves, I would have requested a refund, but it seems that it took a tiny bit of time for the gloves to fall apart, and now I feel like I'm stuck with them

Great gloves
I was shopping around for gloves at first and im glad I went with the alpinestar, not only are they a great fit but they are really comfortable and have a good amount of fadding, not positive but they feel like they would hold up and definetely help out if ne thing did happen. I give an A+ and great price too

I have been wearing the SMX-2 carbon gloves for about two seasons and kept blowing out the palms... So far the comfort and air flow of the ravens far excede the SMX-2s but i feel without the carbon, protection is sacrificed just a little.

I bought these cause my Joe Rocket gloves tore within a few months and this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Good fitting glove that is not stiff like leather gloves, when new, and very comfortable.

Awsome buy for the money.
Gloves fit great around the fingers, have plenty of padding on the palm. They are well vented with mesh. Looks are stylish and sleek.
