Sizing chart not correct

The quality of the product itself is good but the sizing chart on the site is not correct. We measured according to the video on the Alpine Star website and then matched the measurements up according to the sizing chart on the Motosport site. The measurements came out to equal a size 58, so we ordered a size 60 thinking that this would allow some extra room if needed. Even still the jacket is too small! Now when exchanging we are going to order a size 64 which is the largest size available. You would think that going through the steps of calling Alpine Star to ask if the sizes run small or not, watching the measuring instructional video, and comparing it to the Motosport sizing chart on the site would not have a difference of a size 58 to size 64! Good luck when ordering a jacket. I called and spoke with a rep from the Motosport ordering center and he told me that the sizing charts are not always correct....my thoughts....whats the point of having a sizing chart on the site if its not correct. Apparently there is no accurate reference to go by when ordering apparel. Now the cost of the jacket went from $380.00 to $400.00 for return shipping. Very disapointing.
