can i put on a aftermarket exhaust without remaping it?

Typically when installing an aftermarket system, you will need to have your bike re-mapped. It does vary slightly based on location and elevation but typically if your bike is running correctly with the stock exhaust, it will not be correct with the aftermarket exhaust. Re-mapping can be achieved with the use of an aftermarket fuel controller such as a Power Commander.
