Great feeling of protection
These bars were very easy to install, no cutting of the fairings or anything. I put these on my 09 r6. Very solid build. I instantly felt that my bike was very VERY protected. After riding with them a couple times you have absolutley no idea that they are there.

Front: sliders stick out a little further than normal frame sliders but still a great length.

Honestly, exactly what I was looking for
Absolutely the highest quality in materials (perfect wields) that I could think of, very solid, the gloss black matches my 2008 zx6r perfectly and no fairing mods needed, worth it get these over frame sliders any day.

A must have
these bars work great and saved me alot of money, went down on by 07 gsxr 750 at about 50 mph and all that was damaged was the plastic sliders on the bar.

Worth the money
Not only are the barrier bars fairly priced but they are worth every penny. I dumped by bike recently and the only part that had damage was the slider. My bike is a GSX-R750 K8. The barrier bars fit perfectly with no cutting. The only thing I disliked is the bar that goes across the rear part of the engine. It looks cheaply made. The could of at least painted it black. Yoshimura caps took care of that. These bars are extremly durable and I would recommend to everyone.

Militant Moto Bar for Yamaha R1 2009?
Does this fit the Yamaha R1 2009 - 2011 without cutting the right and left fairings? It seems doubtful without cutting. Please help. Need to purchase if no cut involved.

Militant Moto
Very high quality, better and less expensive than the competition. The militant moto writing on the rail is a decal if you wish to apply it....or leave it off

It works
i recently high-sided my 07 gsxr 750 i had a militant moto bar and a vortex rearset equipped. after i hit the pavement i was happy to see my motorcycle safely sliding on the militant moto bar and my vortex foot peg. and the majority of the damage was not from the road, but from me flying through my wind screen. good job militant moto..

I have a 2007 R6. Not S. Will this take the place of the frame sliders i already have installed?

Yes, these would take the place of ordinary frame sliders.

Yes it will. You will have to remove the frame sliders and the front of the bars will be mounted at the same spot.

Does it come with instructions?
Does it come with instructions? How easy is it to install? Is there any Fairing mods for the 2008 honda cbr1000rr?

No instructions, just a sheet saying to tighten the sliders and saying that they are not responsible for damages due to a crash. Bla...Bla...bla... I got them for an 08 gsxr600. The front engine mounts were easy to change, but the rear engine mount needs a special socket, which I don't have. It required no faring mod, it's sort-of offset like no cut sliders.

I don't believe it does include instructions... The notes in my system does say that fairing modifications does need to be done for a CBR1000RR but I'm not sure where. You can always contact the manufacture directly for help. 949-388-1797
