Shogun Motorsports 3 Piece No Cut Slider Kit - Black

The Shogun No-Cut Crash Kit for 2009+ Yamaha R1's includes 4 pieces: Bar End Sliders, Frame Sliders, Crank/ Oil Case Guards, and Swing Arm Spools. The kit comes in a small box with a part number, which requires you to log on to www.shogun.com to download install instructions. The dealer I bought my bike from installed it for me while we were signing papers, and it was done in about 30-45 minutes... *** Observations: The frame sliders are actually cone-shaped and not cylinder shaped as published on Motosport.com's web site. This is a minor detail, but thought I should point it out. But, they still look very sleek and compliment the lines of the R1 nicely. My only gripe is that the kit lacks padding inside the packaging. And, one of my frame sliders actually had a few hairline scratches that are definitely noticeable, but not too bad. I have no way of knowing if the scratch was the manufacturer's fault, or if this box had been opened by Motorsport and scratched, because the box is not sealed... But, all-in-all a great looking kit, and I hope that I never have to find out if they work or not.

Bought these for my ZX6R, fit was great installation took less than an hour, reason for the 4 Stars? No instructions, had to go to the shogun site and download a pdf!

The product got here with no problem. I have to admit I was irritated that no instructions were enclosed with the product (even from Shogun). So I called the customer service agent and they helped me when I asked questions about the install. Plus utube helped. After several hours, we finally got a special tool to get the motor mount bolt out to install these. The product is finally installed and looks great!
