Good muffler
Well, I had the exhaust on the bike for less than 24 hours before someone rear ended me and totaled the bike. I had a 2004 Buell xb12r. Anyway..the exhaust sounded great and looked great as well. Quiet at idle ad cruising but got LOUD when you rolled into it. With a noticeable gain in mid range and top end power. The only complaint I would have was the installation. A few of the brackets had to be modified. Specifically the exhaust outlet bracket. The hole was about 3/4" off and we had to drill another hole to fit. Took 5 minutes no big deal. Everything else was of high quality.

Awesome sound money well spent
I live Melbourne, Australia. I've always had loud cars so the stock exhaust on my 07 GSX-R600 was just not grunty enough. I didn't want to shell out $500 to $1000 dollars for a full system or even the same amount for a slip on and after a friend put a Yoshi slip on his 07 GSX-R600 I decided the Jardine GP-1 looked better and after reading the great reviews and watching YouTube vids I liked what I heard. Installation took me about 1.5hrs but I took my time as was first tIme I'd pulled my fairings off and worked in the bike myself. Time to start her up... And Jesus was I happy with what I heard. Awesome. Money well spent and great value compared to Yoshi and the others in price alone. I took her for a test ride and was smiling under my helmet the whole time. The next day at work a guy who lives three streets away from me asked if I was testing out my new bike exhaust at the nite before cause he heard a bike roaring around te neighborhood... My satisfaction grew more. Highly recommended! Just get one!!! Now!

Awesome Exhaust
Awesome exhaust!! sounds great and was very easy to install. would be 5 stars but if u want to put the baffle in you have to mease out the spot and drill it out yourself for the screws to attach the baffle in. i didnt want to put it in but i know some people would.

LOUD!
Very loud! The silence doesnt make much difference so I left that out. I think this exhaust makes a Harley sound like a kitten. I have a 2011 Ninja 650R and this exhaust slipped right on. Did not have to make any modifications at all. I did however, have to unplug the heat sensor and now the FI light stays on, but that is easily fixed. Performance has increased also fuel consumption is much better now. Very fast delivery also. They sent it on Monday, and I received it Friday(darwin, australia)

I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!
Jardine made an excellent product!!! LOUD N CLEAR, if your looking for throaty M4 it as this pipe isn't for you. The sound is like an LF-A on the track/crack. Gave it a 4 for the install since the pipe didn't slip on to the header collection with ease. 45mins later ur killing the streets and track. gsxr600 06

Looks awesome but can damage ears!
Overall I like the pipe for what it is. It is a huge weight savings and lets other drivers know you are there unlike the silent stock exhaust. I put this slip-on on my 09 ZX6R and it is super loud. I read a lot of reviews and somehow missed that it eliminates the collector or "pre-muffler " in between the silencer and header. If it retained that I believe it would sound deeper and be more neighbor friendly. I will put the insert in and see how much difference that makes. If you don't mind the noise this is a good upgrade over stock.

Excellent buy for the money.
I found this slip on to be one of the best value for the money. The installation was easy the only problem I found was the back muffler bracket hole didn't line up with the exhaust tip and had to be redrilled. this was not a big issue. The muffler has a great sound and made a big difference on my Buell XB 12. I would not hesitate buying another Jardine product and plan on buying again from Motosport their prices and service is excellent..

No, the 08- 09 is different than the 06-07.

i dont think so does it have the same motostyle exhuast as the 2006-2007 model year. if so it should fit. if i remember right it not the same style and your header pipe is longer then on the 2006. so it would hit your back tire.

Is a Power Commander needed?
I'm thinking about purchasing this exhaust for my stock 07 GSX-R 750 and was wondering if a Power Commander or any EMU upgrades are needed?
Over 5 years ago Location: Kennesaw, GA
You can probably get by without a PC or remapping the ECU, but it is usually recommended to do so. Especially if you put a filter in there as well. You don't want to run it lean. My local Suzuki dealer will re-map the ECU for $105 if you don't want to spend the $$$ for a PC.

NO you dont have to have it. I have the same bike and just got this exhaust for it. Ive had it on for two days and my bike runs better now then it did with the stock. if you deside to add one latter i would get one that will run all 8 injecters that are on this model bike.
