If uve got the money
The velocity stacks are a pretty cool upgrade but kind of expensive for what they are. if youve got the cash and want to do every little thing to make your bike better then get the v stacks

Excellent power for dollar!
I bought and installed these on my 2007 SV650. Given the fact that my bike isn't known for top end I figured these would be a great way of adding some... I was very correct! Unlike most inline 4 bikes that only gain a little top end and a cool intake sound, my little v-twin gained a nice amount of mid and top end with no sacrifice to the lower rpm's. I love the added pull I get when my torque runs out and the power picks up. What use to feel like a flat spot in the higher rpm's is now more acceleration. These are a definite must for anyone looking to get every little bit of power out of their machine with bolt-on's only.

Like the others have said these stacks give you a deeeeep throaty growl when u dig into the throttle !! I recommend these stacks for sure, you will notice a subtle difference in the seat of the pants feel but the sound alone is worth it.

Insane Topend
I bought the factory pro velocity stacks for my 2001 r1 champions edition... i also changed my air filter to an k&n.. i got rediculous top end after 6000 rpm my bike feels like a turbo kicks on, my front wheel wants to jump... i lost a little bit of low end power.. not enough to bother me....

Does this product improve gas or use more? Or is it just depending on how u drive?

Pretty much any performance based addition to your engine will result in more fuel consumption. These Velocity Stacks improve air flow going through the carburetor which will draw fuel in faster. There won't be a dramatic difference in how much, but again that depends on how you ride.

Are these a simple install that I could do myself or does a certified mechanic have to do it?

You should be able to do it yourself. Factorypro has step by step pictures online for most applications.

Are these the Super Flare V Stacks?
I did some research and found that Factory Pro has two models, the Super Flare V Stacks and the Standard V Stacks. Which ones are these?

For most bikes they only make one version. What bike do you have?

Factory Pro's part number for an 03-08 sv650 Vel-s59-3535. These are "35/35" stacks, some Mid and mostly HIGH rpm stack setup (use with stock air filter, BMC, K&N or similar filter)

If you go back on-line and list your ride the Motosport system is only going to give you the ones that fit your ride, and those will be the ones that Factory Pro felt would give the best performance gains. NOTE: the only ones were you have a choice in size is for the 03-05 Yamaha R6

WILL THIS FIT A 07 CBR600RR?
DO YOU LOOSE ANY BOTTOM END? DO THE PLASTIC TUBES COST LESS?
MotoSport Staff
Over 4 years ago Location: Portland, OR
From what Factory Pro claims it doesn't effect the bottom end at all. If anything it will improve it. But unfortunately we don't show a listing for the 07 CBR600rr. You can always try and go direct through Factory Pro, heres their number: (800) 869-0497
