I want to gear down my 2012 Yamaha R-1. I want to go from a 17t front sprocket to a 15T front sprocket. Will this effect my traction control system?
Will dropping from a 17t front sprocket to a 15T front sprocket on my 2012 Yamaha R-1 effect the traction control system? If so what can I do to make it work properly with the smaller front sprocket that will gear it down?

You may need to remove a link but it's hard to say since chains stretch out over time. It's always recommended to change your chain when you change your sprockets but that's your call.
