Awesome kit! 01SV650
I have an 01 Sv650s and this kit worked out perfectly for me. The vortex sprocket looks good and seems to be holding up well after a couple thousand miles, there is little if any wear. The chain is a beaut and certainly is a good tough chain for the 650cc, I deff trust it over the stock one. Fairly easy to clean and maintain with brush and kerosene. SEEMS as it may be a little heavier than stock but id rather have the strength than a wimpy one that can snap.

Great product for a great price
I bought this item for my 2003 gsxr 600 replacing the oem chain and sprockets, this kit is very easy to install and is a good price when you compare it to some of the other more expensive kits. I highly recommend this to anyone whos bike is in need of a new chain and sprockt set.

This is more rider preference than anything. If you are looking for more bottom end, or faster acceleration there are a few changes you can make. Chain - Going with the 520 chain will be lighter than a 525 and 530. With a 600cc bike it is still safe to use and will lighten the load on the engine. Gearing - If you are looking for a subtle change, go up 1 or 2 teeth on the rear sprocket from the stock tooth count. If you are looking for more of a drastic change, you could go down 1 tooth from stock on the front sprocket. Changing 1 tooth on the front is about equal to changing 3 on the rear.

Whats the front and rear teeth for a 2001 CBR 600F4i?
If i change the teeth at either the front or rear, will it adjust the speedometer calibration?

16 / 46 It all depends on how much you change it. Yes, changing your gear ratio will change the accuracy of the speedometer.

What is the difference in 520, 525, and 530 chains?

They are all different widths and are not compatible. Smaller motorcycles use 520 chains and sprockets larger liter bikes use 530 and then some overlap inbetween @ 525. If you don't know what size you need give us a call.

What color is the chain that comes with the kit?
how many teeth are on a stock 08 r6 front sprocket

The color depends on which chain you pick, most are silver or gold. 45t stock. Go up 2 teeth if you want more torque.

Is this chain a GOLD color?

Since this is a kit it gives you a couple different chains that you can select from so it's hard to tell what chain you are talking about. If you want more information feel free to call one of our sales reps.

that combination will definately give you more power out of the hole. but you will lose a little top end.

How do i determine how many teeth i need on the front and rear sprocket kit for the suzuki gsxr 600, 2006?

If you are looking for the factory gearing, your owners manual should have that information. This bike should have come with 16/43 from the factory.
