Super Deal !!

I am thoroughly pleased with this MotoGP Str8taway jacket. It is well made and has many features of more expensive jackets. It was warm at 40 degrees going 60 MPH. Absolutely windproof !!! The double storm flap over the front zipper keeps out the weather. It seems to have decent protection. Fit is very comfortable and stylish. You won't be disappointed with this jacket.

Fair Jacket for an Excellent Price

The design of the Moto GP STR8TAWAY jacket in Red & Black seems well thought out and a good choice for many riding situations. I use it to comply with the military's contrasting color and reflective clothing regulations.

First the good... The materials used seem first rate and the workmanship is above par. Pockets are plentiful an can actually hold a somewhat usefull amount of stuff. I especially like the cell phone pocket; it also works great for garage door openers. Unfortuatly it is only in the liner and not in the main coat. The thing seems absolutely wind proof. I got it as a gift while in Wisconsin during one of its 20 below wind chill days and did not feel it at all where covered by the jacket. My lower half and face was quite a different story. The CE protection seems a comfortable fit, but there is no back protection as advertised in the catalog.

Now for some bad... I am not in love with the shade of red the jacket comes in. It is almost a brite shade of pink. The jacket is not sized correctly and I had to send the first one back to get it in a larger size . Learn from my mistake and order one or even two sizes larger than usual. Even with the larger size I find the jacket to be a bit short at the waist and it would be better if it had more of a 3/4 type design. The arms seem correct for my 36" arms.

The kicker is the PRICE... WOW, you just normaly can't get this kind of porpose built quality for under $90.00. At $280.00 this is an overpriced run of the mill motorcycle jacket, but at under $90.00, it is a must buy! Just remember that the cost to ship it back in order to get a larger size will diminish some of your savings.

Great Jacket for Great Price!!!

Already wore it on a 3 day ride in 40 degree weather and it kept me warm. Fits perfect and already had several good comments about it.

Liner comes out with ease for warmer riding and has plenty of pockets to fill.

Only downside is it does not have a backprotector in it.

Under-sized w/ Faded Fabric

Purchase at least one size larger than you normally would. If you have broad shoulders or large arms, go two sizes up.

Fabric seemed to be faded, but I can't verify whether that was unique to my unit or not. Uninspiring design.

Most Wicked Pleased in my Moto GP Str8taway Jacket

I am (was) always looking for a bike jacket that is:

1 - Comfortable and versatile for both warm and cool days.
2 - Stylish
3 - Reasonably priced

My yellow MOTO GP STR8TAWAY JACKET covers everything I could possibly want. It has zip open air vents for exhausting air. It has a removable liner as well.

My leather riding jacket is now in the back of my closet, while my Moto GP Str8taway Jacket hangs from my handlebars when I am not riding!!!

Q: Sizing?
I'm looking at the Moto GP Str8taway Jacket, and I saw a note that they run small. I'm almost 6', 195 lbs--what size would fit me? (I normally wear a L or a XL--depending on the fit, would I need to go up to a XXL?)

A: The XL should be sufficient for your size. Going to a 2XL will provide a loose fit. Body dimensions will determine the most accurate fit, but generically the XL should work.
