The AIR4ORCE tunable intake system completely replaces your existing stock airboot with a custom-designed airboot that offers the maximum air volume for increased horsepower and the benefit of adjustable velocity stacks to allow you the ability to fine tune the power delivery for rider preference and/or track conditions. There's simply nothing else like it out there, which is why you see it being run by many of the top racers and teams. The AIR4ORCE is currently used by Monster Energy Kawasaki, GEICO Honda, Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda, Rockstar Suzuki and many more.

  • Tunable Intake System to increase horsepower.
  • Replaces stock air intake boot with custom designed one to allow maximum airflow.
  • Interchangeable velocity stacks (industry first) to fine tune power delivery.
  • Long velocity stack: Increased stock power curve with better acceleration.
  • Short velocity stack: Stronger mid-to-top power with better acceleration.
  • Includes clamps and gaskets where necessary.

The AIR4ORCE Story...

The decision to enter the four-stroke market was not taken lightly. It was immediately clear that as a company, Moto Tassinari wanted to continue to build on the success of the VForce3 reed valve system. Moto Tassinari wanted to offer a product to the racing community that they would in turn feel was an essential part of their engine performance and on-track success. Much like the VForce3 reed valve system has been previously. Moto Tassinari feels they didn't disappoint and they're confident you'll agree.

The AIR4ORCE tunable intake system has received 1000's of hours of development and fine-tuning to bring you the highest level of performance, while also allowing a simple straight forward installation. Every characteristic of the AIR4ORCE has been taken into consideration, a fact you'll notice as soon as you open the box. Moto Tassinari hopes you enjoy the new AIR4ORCE tunable intake system as much as they enjoyed developing it from a concept on the drawing table, to a vital part of a winning motorcycle.

What are Velocity Stacks?

The most unique feature of the AIR4ORCE tunable intake system is the ability to fine-tune the power delivery via interchangeable velocity stacks. However, that concept might be a little unfamiliar for some not as experienced with four-stroke motor performance. Let Moto Tassinari explain the concept below:

A velocity stack is a device of differing lengths which is fitted to the air entry of an engine's intake system, carburetor or fuel injection. It is designed to:

  • Allow smooth and even entry of air at high velocities into the intake tract with the flow stream adhering to the pipe walls.
  • Modify the dynamic tuning range of the intake tract by functioning as a resonating pipe which can adjust the frequency of pressure pulses, based on its length, within the tract.

A Must Have !!!

One of the Best Mods you can fo to your 4 Stroke !!

Overall 4 out of 5 stars
Location: Boise, ID

There this on my 2010 YZ250F and went with the stack to improve the top end. Install was super easy. I noticed a huge change to my bike's power during my first ride at the track after install and I couldn't be happier with how much improvement I saw. If there was a bike to put this product on, it is definitely a YZ250F. It greatly reduced the flat feeling that was there in the higher gears and the hit off closed throttle is awesome in any gear!

****HOWEVER****, once i got the boot installed and was wiping off the finger prints, the MT logo on the boot straight ripped off! The raised red pieces on the logo are glued on like garbage and nothing I tried would get it to stay on. Spending $300.00 dollars on what amounts to $10.00 of rubber and having this happen is a huge bummer. I've tried to call their customer service line on three occasions with no luck of actually getting anyone. For this reason, I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5. Putting aside this single shotty aspect of the air boot, I would say the product is a definite 5.

No, unfortunately the air intake boot is different and Moto Tassinari only offers the Air4orce Intake System for Yamaha YZ250f's years 2008-2013.

The Moto Tassinari Air4orce Intake System is not made for 2-Strokes. It would not fit your 2013 KTM 250SX.

Does the intake help stop end bog?

Nope, but your bike is running lean...becareful not to blow it up. You won't believe the awesome power you will gain when you richen up your jets and needle. The more air your bike gets the leaner it will run. I found this out the hard way when I drilled holes in my air box...very bad idea. Have a mechanic dial in your slow jet, main jet, and needle jet. If you only want to spend 5 bucks on a main jet and do it yourself then you will find a monster difference by this fix only. The other fixes won't be a factor for your bike to blow up. The other minor changes will not make your bike blow if left alone. Main jet is under carb...loosen the aluminum large bolt. The main jet will be hidden in the center and is a small brass nut. Becareful not to overtighten this brass nut. You might have to twist the carburator sideways to get at the bottom...slight hassle. Rip and Roar

I would recommend looking into the jetting on your bike to fix the issue you are having the bike bogging. If your bike was properly jetted and tuned the Moto Tassinari Air4orce Intake System would help the performance of your bike but simply installing it would not solve the bog problem. Items that may help more with the bog issue: 1. Jet Kit 2. Accelerator Pump Cover 3. Fuel Mixture Screw I would also recommend taking your bike to a shop or mechanic to have it re-jetted and tuned if you do not have previous experience doing this yourself.

If your bike is currently jetted correctly you should not need to make any changes.

Is this product for fuel injected bikes only?

No, this is available for some carbureted models also. We do have it available for your 2009 KX250f, but unfortunately this is a 4 stroke only item and is not available for your 2005 KX125. When ordering please make sure to profile your bike correctly as these are model specific.

Will this product go with the Loud Mouth Performance Intake Kit and still provide the horsepower it says it does?
MotoSport Staff
2 years 6 months ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
Since the Moto Tassinari Intake replaces your stock intake boot and not the airbox, you should have no problems using in conjunction with the loud mouth intake without hindering any performance.
