The cables does not actually include the fitting that screw into the carburetor. The fitting is not included with the OEM or the aftermarket cables must be purchased separately from the OEM parts fiche here : http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/oem-parts/KAWASAKI/2003/KLR650/CARBURETOR . The fitting is item #16012.

Finding parts for an odd-ball Shadow?
Our bike is an oddball so finding parts for it is always interesting. 96 Honda Shadow VT1100B It's my understanding it was made for only 2 years, 400 bikes total. The title says VT1100C but looking through the repair manuals, our bike is not in there. It weighs 975 lb, front single-sided disc brake, rear drum brake, 4-speed, and I never found the specs on the gas tank but it's not the same capacity of any of the Shadows listed in the manuals. My husband thinks it's a 3.1 gallon. We need a choke cable. On your site I see a couple for the Shadows, 17950-MM8-000 and 19750-MAH-000. Any suggestions on which one to choose? What is the difference between the two cables? Perhaps if I knew the length of these two items I might be able to compare it to the one we have.

For this specific request it would be great if you can call us with a VIN number from the bike so we can determine exactly what model it is. Rather than guessing what cable you may need for your bike, this will allow us to reference the correct cable from Honda and make sure you receive the correct one the first time.
