I want to run the 13:1 piston to gain more power..will that require porting to the head?also is this a more durable way to go then a big bore kit?

The Moose CP Piston Kit does not require head modifications to be used. You may need to run a mixture of race gas to keep detonation out of the motor.

Yes you can, just make sure it is a quality 93. It would be better to use a higher octane or 50/50 mix of race and pump gas. But CP says it will work with good quality 93.

Modifying the head will not be necessary for this to be used in your model application.

Do you need to run race fuel with this pistion? do you recomend a jet size for a honda 450 with all the bolt ons & stage2 hotcams.?

typically any piston that is higher than 12.5:1 compression should use a 50/50 blend or straight race fuel. Race fuel will help keep the detonation temp lower than where pump fuel burns at.
