I've been more than happy with this tire so far. Fits my Suzuki DR-Z 400 perfectly. I ride 50/50 on/off road - so the tread is exactly what I need for my use. I can't say how this tire would do on a race track, but it's perfect for recreational purposes.

MICHELIN T63 tires are an economical choice in on / off-road tires, with a knob pattern inspired by the Dakar-winning MICHELIN Desert tires. They're well-suited to small-displacement dual-sport and trail bikes that are used mainly off-road.
- Tread pattern derived from Michelin's highly successful Desert tires, for exceptional traction off-road.
- Excellent stability and durability.
- High level of grip on the road.
- Reinforced knobs resist tearing and abrasion on asphalt.
- 'S' speed rating for highway use.
I bought this for my plated 250X and it's been disappointing. On the road it is smooth and I haven't had an issue with it, but as a dual sport tire it's not the best. I've washed my front end out several times on trails and gravel roads and it's got to the point that I had to change it out because it was simply unsafe. I took several spills because of it. Most of them on single/dual track at relatively low speed, but I had a higher speed slide on a forest service road and that's when I surrendered and replaced the tire. If you are a casual rider or someone that doesn't hit trail too much - probably a fine tire. If you ride trail or ride aggressively - at all - look for a different tire.
I installed this on my 2001 Yamaha XT225, fits great, no issues. Does pretty good in the central Texas sandy soil.
I put this on my dual sported XR400 and it's working out great! This tire is less aggressive than a lot of the knobbies out there, but the road manners are stellar! I spent last weekend running gravel roads around Valley of the Gods in Utah, and the tire did pretty well! I think if I road more in really soft conditions, I would want something more like a 606, but for what I do, this tire works out well. I am running the larger size, and it is not as wide as I thought it would be, so I wouldn't recommend buying the narrow size.
