The new benchmark in sport touring tires.

  • Surpasses the performance of the renowned Michelin Pilot Road 2 tire.
  • Unrivaled grip in the wet, thanks to revolutionary new Michelin X-Sipe Technology.
  • Exceptional durability.
  • Unbeatable tread life thanks to Michelin's latest-generation 2CT dual-compound technology (based on tests carried out at the DEKRA Test Center in 2010).
  • Performance that lasts.
  • Even wear and life-long performance thanks to full-depth Michelin XST sipes.

Michelin XST X-Sipe Technology: Michelin XST X-Sipe Technology incorporates patented sipes and integrated water reservoir technology, giving increased water drainage capacity.

Michelin 2CT Two Compound Technology: Michelin 2CT dual-compound technology successfully accomplishes two conflicting ideals: wear resistance in the center of the tread, and grip on the shoulders.

Great tire ...but

I have been using Road 3 tires for years now. they never disappointed me. except this time. I don't know if it's bad luck but I just bought these tires and I already have a flat on the rear one within 7 days they were installed by a professional shop. is there some kind of warranty from Michelin or Moto Sport that covers this? because now I have to buy a new rear tire.

Michelin Pilot Road 3 Rear Tire

So far this is one of the best tires I've used in the last 30 years.

Last Forever

These tires take ages to wear out. I recently took them off of my SV1000 with 9500+ miles on them and I hadn't hit the wear-bars yet. I am usually lucky if I can get 5000 miles out of a regular pilot power. They are decent in the rain.

My main complaint is that they made my bike feel heavy and slow to turn. I think this is related to the profile of the tire, these are more rounded compared to the Pilot Powers. The shape of these tires doesn't give as much confidence in the corners and really makes the bike feel like it would rather be standing straight up instead of leaning over.

These are great if you're looking for a long-lasting tire, but for me they took some of the fun out of riding and I probably won't be buying them again.

Tyre

good product, a bit softer sidewall than the larger, giving softer street ride...
