You don't have to be world champion to get your hands on Michelin® racing tire technology. Pilot® Power tires use a rubber mix that was originally developed for MotoGP racing, and a tread pattern that covers less than 12% of the tire's surface. The result is a maximum lean angle of 50.6 degrees on dry pavement and 41.9 degrees in the wet, achieved with a stock sportbike.

  • Rubber compound reaches operating temperature quickly.
  • Incredible cornering grip.
  • Impressive durability for a high-performance tire.
  • Designed for high-performance sportbikes.
  • Suitable for street or track use.
  • MotoGP-derived rubber mix.
  • Tread pattern covers less than 12% of the tire surface, for phenomenal cornering adhesion.
  • Synthetic rubber mix derived from MotoGP tire technology, formulated to maintain consistent performance even at advanced stages of tire wear.
  • 50.6° maximum lean angle in the dry, as measured at the Michelin test track.
  • The Michelin Pilot Power ultra high-performance tire has a speed rating of W or up to 168 mph.

Great tire

for the price, these are amazing, ive had 3 sets now. they don't last a huge amount of miles, but decent mileage at the least. awesome grip, often do track days and they rock out there. also ride highway for commute, and they hold up there too. Wet traction is pretty good, although its not often I ride in rain, when I do get caught out, I don't worry about traction issues. in my opinion, best tire out there for the price, and this model has been around for a while, so that should tell you theyre good.

Michelin Pilot Power

My favorite tires by far, & I've used all the major brands over the years. Feel & grip is very good, Styling is great & so to is the price. Mileage, not as good as I would like, but it's on par with it's competition.

New rear, Ready for Deals Gap.

Favorite tires

I run these on an SV1000. The profile of these tires makes my bike feel nimble - like it wants to turn harder every time I go around a corner. On average I will get 5000-6000 miles out of a rear tire which is awesome compared to other tires that grip this well. I always recommend these when someone asks me which tires to choose. Michelin is constantly releasing new tire models, but I think there's a reason that this one has remained unchanged for so long: price + performance = great value!

Tire Review

I've had this tire for about 2 weeks now. Was shipped very fast. After putting this tire on it felt like a new bike. Handles the corners well. Seems to warm up quick to. Defiantly excited to have this tire. I would recommend this tire to anyone. Has a speed rating of 165 mph if i remember right, not that i'll ever go that fast but nice to know i have the option.

Best bang for the buck

Great grip and performance. I've been running these tires on my last two V-twin liter bikes for about 5 years. The grip and feed back on the road is great. Tire life is a little short for my liking but I drive pretty aggresively so I'll take grip over long tire life any day.

Extremely easy

Tires were delivered quickly and efficient. The quality of the tires are great. Sticky and durable. They wear out about the normal rate for just street use. I would recommend these tires to anyone. great price and great service from motosport.com

The Michelin Pilow Power Tire is a single compound tire. For the dual compound version you would want to get the Pilot Power "2CT" Tire.

The 2ct is a dual compound tire which has a harder compound in the middle and a soft compound in the edges. The pilot power is a singe compound tire.
