Great Tire

Tire has held up as i am putting on a new one now at 3000 miles. After a few trips to the track and plenty of "commuting" the center of the tire is now gone before the edges. Tire held to the true 51 degree radius in the turns, was able to drag knee easily and confidently. Would recommend for the serious rider.

This is the only tire I have ever ran on my bikes. It performs so well its unreal. One it gets hot, it grips to the road like no other. I was also surprised with the amount of miles I got out of it too. i have encouraged all my other friends to get it too and they love it as much as I do.

Good track day tire

A good track day tire. Good compromise between stick and durability -- about as sticky as the Dunlop Q2's with a little longer life. I ride a 600. Tire pressures need to be run a little higher than other tires due to the very soft carcass.

Well worth the price

This tire was purchased on a budget. Not only did I get a great price but the tires were at my house In three days! Good mileage a lil hard to keep warm In winter temps if u live where fifty is a hot day

Performance 5/5
More lean angle tire

This tire increases your lean confidence feels very stable at low lean angles. Performance is great I yet have to see about durability.

Switched out my stock battlax bt-016 for these AMAZING PP2CT. All I can say is that it feels like I got a new bike. It is night and day!. The second i went for the first ride my bike just wanted to LEAN!. I always help back on the throttle with the 016 but these Michelin just ask for more. I only have 50 miles on them so far so I can't tell you guys about durability but performance wise they are AMAZING!!! BUY THEM!!!! for 219.99 SHIPPED! its a bargain. I want to try the PR2ct after these, but i will def buy these again!

Great Tire

This tire has traction! After it warms up, it gets sticky. Great tread design as well. I don't have any problems riding up to 180 mph either.

These tires are monsters! Great handling, super sticky, predictable and great track tires. They will wear out quickly if you put them through there paces on the track, however, it's worth paying the price for confidence. Street use is good as well, but the center will square of after 2000 miles of "commuter" riding so you should have these tires for trackdays if you can so afford.

this tire is the best ..blows the battleax out of the water.my bike came stock with bridgestone battleax .wore them out then got the pilot and what a differance in fell, softer and warms much quicker.

ya boy!

Good track tire

Tire was phenomenal on track. Deep lean angles with confidence. Large contact patch while leaned over. You can see large surface area at edges in the shape of the tire when you receive it. Held flawlessly at Miller Motorsports Park track day. Center tread lasts very well for street riding.

Q: 2007 kawasaki zx10r can I use 180/55zr17 instead of 190/55zr17 tire size?

A: You can mount the 180/55-17 tire on your 07 ZX10R. There is much debate about tire sizing and what is correct. Keep in mind the 180 is designed to be used on a 5.5 inch rim and your bike does have a 6 inch rim. The tire will not follow the profile it was designed for if mounted on your rim. Here is a great forum post that has a lot of info regarding this exact tire sizing question.

Q: Which to choose pilot power or TC2?
I know both of these are good tires but i need to know which would work best for me. I want confidence in my tire in turns, but i ride mostly on the street. Because of this i need a tire that wont square the center of the tire as quickly, and hopefully last longer in general. Which tire is for me?

A: If you're squaring the center of your current tire the Pilot Power will be good for you, if you're burning the edges off go with the 2CT.
Over 3 years ago Location: Deep River, CT, USA
A: I run the 2CT on my bike and it handles awsome in the corners and because of the diffrent compounds they use in the tire it makes the outsides soft for cornering and the center a harder compound for just strait riding so the tire lasts longer another tire is the power 3 I think I'm gunna try those next summer

Q: What is the difference between the pilot powers and the pilot power 2ct?

im just curious what the difference is before i make a decision.

A: The 2CT is a dual compound high performance tire and the pilot power is a single compound performance tire.
Q: What is the difference between Pilot Power, Pilot Power 2ct, Road?

A: The difference is in the rubber used in each tire. The 2CT uses different compounds on the center and edges of the tire, the Pilot Power doesn't but is still a softer compound compared to the Road which is more of a high mileage tire.
Over 7 years ago Location: Rockaway, NJ
A: The Pilot Power and Pilot Power 2CT are aggressive street/trackday tires. They both use the same compound in the center of the tire but the 2CT has a softer compound toward the edges. The profile of these tires is egg shaped, giving them a quick turn-in and more rubber on the road while leaned way over. I personally like to use a Pilot Power 2CT front and a Pilot Power rear. The Pilot Road on the other hand is a sport touring tire. It has a harder compound for longevity and a flatter profile for a linear turn in. Expect to get about 6000 miles on the street out of the Pilot Power and 10,000+ out of the Pilot Road.
