Good all-around tire for track, hill-climbing and trails. Great traction and stability, especially in softer conditions. Seems to wear much longer than other brands I have tried. I've run this type of tire for the past five years on a CRF 250R, and almost that long on a CRF 450R. Never had a flat or any kind of problem. No complaints whatsoever.

Works great on hardpack. It could last a little longer but what tire couldn't.
I ride in sandy soil with a lot of rocks and roots. I put this tire on my bike a few weeks ago and it has great traction. And it's soft enough to get good traction when climbing rock ledges. I took off one star cause the price seems a little high. But, I gotta admit, I love this tire.
I just ordered a matching front tire.
I bought a full set of M12XC tires for my WR450 in preparation for the 24 hours of Starvation Ridge race. Went with the M since the track would either be hard or extremely soft and muddy depending on the weather on the day. It ended up being really goopy clay mud. The tire hooked up exceedingly well, even able to loft the front tire when the traction should have been horrible. Not as great for cornering, but again, I was riding on grease. No signs of any wear yet, but there wasn't any friction on the tire. Early on, some sections of the course were grasstrack, and the tire hooked up great there too.
Downgraded on ease of installation since it's a tire. It's never all that easy, and won't ever be. Didn't rate highly on durability because I can't say for sure yet, all the miles I've put on it so far were low friction.
Great tire when it was 77.00
The only rear tire I buy now! Great traction and impressive wear for the size of the lugs. I ride mostly loose singletrack with lots of trees and rocks, rocks, rocks! They are a little tougher to install then other tires I have used but well worth it!
I have ran these tires for years now and will not switch. Great all around tire! these tires hook up great in just about any kind of dirt and really seem to last!
Yep, you never quite get what you want at the drive through, and apparently now motosport as well...I ordered a 110/100-18...fully expecting to get a tire that says 110/100-18...however, mine says 130/80-18....if it fits, ill update my review, but bottom line is this..if i order a freaking burger, dont give me a fish sandwich and tell me its the same...
This tire will handle anything you through at it. I ride alot of motocross style track and mountian trails with rock. Its hard to find a tire that will hold up to the torque my 525 SX puts out, but, this tire will grab anything. For the motocross track its solid through the turns and handles the triples and tables very well. For the rocky muddy or dry terrain in the the mountians its very reliable and provides the traction that you need when your climing those stephills. Recommend the set to anyone with every bike. Stay out of the roost my buddies say it hurts.
this is a good tire it performes every where except for slick wet hard clay but i dont think any tire does on that but the only reason that im reviewing this is because im already on the page buying my 3rd 1 there good and really good in snow the scoup style works great.
As far as the tire goes, it does hold up very well. I have raced 4 or 5 hare scrambles and tire shows very little wear. The problem is that I ordered a 110/100/18. What I got was a 130/80/18. I called several times to ensure the tires was the same as a 110/100, and was told it was. The tire did fit my rim (very hard to get on), but I noticed the tire is almost 2" narrower than the 110/100 I took off. I do have some traction/ rear control problems. I guess in the long run I might have to get future tires from the shop so I can ensure I get what I ordered not what is shipped to me.
The tire is an all around great tire. I ride tight trails and love hillclimbs and this tire definately helps me get through it. I have about 6 hours on the tire and its holding up well. only thing i have against it is the beed did not want to pop no matter what i did to it, i ended up riding with it unpopped and eventually it went. its a good tire and i would buy it again
I ride a lot of rocky single track, and this is probably the best tire I have ever used. It looks cool and sticks to everything. It's really predictable as well.
The best tire i had bought, it jus wear out realy fast....
i ride a ktm 250 xc that eats tires up more than any other bike ive owned. i just got back from riding lava rock covered trails in china hat Oregon and was suprised at the small amount of wear these tires had. BEST mud tire as well. This will be the only rear tire ill ever put on my bike again.
I got this tire after having used the MH3 and MS3 on My 04 YZ250 and 05 YZ450F. I don't think this tire is even in the same league... I am also somewhat confused on the size difference. I ordered a 110/90-19 this is no where even close to the same size. It is much narrower. But on the plus side I did give it to my son for his Yz250f. I have decided to try out the Maxxis lineup.
This tire impressed me on the first lap of the first ride with it. Was riding on a fairly soft track, not muddy, but soft dirt that had been watered. The tire hooked up great. Rode again last night on different track and was still impressed. Biggest complaint was that it seemed to be nearly impossible to install with my hand tools. Really wishing I had a tire changer! But now that it's on, I love it!
great tire.Installed fairly easy, hooks up well in all different types of dirt. After 5 mx races still looks new.I'll buy again.
I have ran many different tires in the past on many different bikes. I'm currently running a 98 KX500 and everyone knows tires don't last long with that bike. I have ran the M12 hard since spring 2010 and it still looks almost new. Hooks up excellent in every terrain I ride in. Sand, Mud, Rocks, and Hard Pack. Haven't ripped any knobs off yet either. If you need a long lasting tire for a big bore bike these work very well.
This tire grips everywhere! great for woods racing, you can even run them flat without the rim lock slipping. Its such a stiff, durable tire, long lasting tire. i will buy many more in the future.
