I purchased a 130/90-16 and liked the look of the tire. In this size the tread is a little flat across compared to others i have used. Unfortunately the bike was totaled on my first test ride of the tires due to another vehicle. So i am unable to talk about longevity or performance.
Best price, fast shipping, Great tire! My 2010 Triumph Thunderbird handles great with this tire. I would purchase it again!
I've put on 3000 miles and they're already starting to wear out with flat spot on the front tire
So far,1000 miles on a new matched set. First 50 miles I rode cautiously and they felt a little funny going from straight to a lean. I am guessing the center of the tread is a little harder compound than the sides. Great for us as riders. After about 50-100 miles that feeling went away and the transition now feels very smooth. I ride twisty roads through the hills in NW Oregon. Approx 35 miles each way to work and back. It has been hot and dry so have not tested wet traction yet but so far I am very impressed. I heard double the mileage to be expected. I typically get 12k on the rear and about 20k in the front of 2003 Road Glide. Heavy bike with 59,400 miles on it and some medium performance upgrades. The price was very reasonable and similar to my previous tires. If the mileage is 1/3 better than the previous tires I will be impressed. Good work Michelin.
I just brake the 50 miles "take it easy" period and so far the tire feels good. Nice cornering. I could not say much of durability yet. I will have to wait and see. Taking that I had not have it for a long time, there is not much I could say about it, but I am happy with my purchase and with the service.
Can't say enough good things about these tires. I bought them for the durability claims to reshoe my 2011 Kawi Vaquero, and they have lived up to the hype (nearly double the mileage I got out of my Metzelers). What I didn't expect was the handling performance - these have been the best! I'll never buy a different brand.
My scooters is a 2013 Fatboy lo so I run a 200mm rear tire.. Nice looking tire, has a stability issue at the beginning when riding faster then 75 mph guess that lasted for about 2k but only got 9.8K out of the rear tire but just ordered another, lets see If I can hit the 10K mark or higher this time.. The front tire still going strong so thats why I purchased the rear once again.. Motosport.com great price fast shipping..
Very well made tire .Comparable with the metzler tire the way they handle.
handles very nice with this tires
First time out on the Michelin tires, prior Dunlop and Metzler use. Sub 60mph they seem to be adequate and handle normally. 60mph + they ride like they are in road grooves, subtle shifts in steering like being buffeted by wind but there is none.
Not balanceing as there is no shimmy or vibration and I have 200+ miles on them now. Hoping they still need to be broke in more and that this will fade as the tires get more wear.
Great tire, I immediately felt the difference in handling compared to my spitfire's I had been running. Bike (1980 Yamaha XS850SG- 46,000 miles) feels like it has much more contact with the road. I will be interested to see how much mileage I get out of this tire.
First tires I've ever had that don't wander when you ride over seams in the road, painted lines or rain grooves. Very sure footed tires. Very grippy sides allowing confidence when leaning hard into corners. 500 miles on tires already and still have the new "nipples" poking out from tires. I've read these tires wearing longer than the OEM Dunlops....so far so good. I'll update in 10,000 miles.
