Great tires for the money

I bought two sets of these Metzeler Sportec M3 Tires, to use on my 2002 Moto Guzzi Le Mans V-11, and on my '97 Ducati 916. They're great for street riding and high speed, short distance touring!

Metzeler is my pick. handsdown

This is my 4th Metzeler, I've blown through the M5's and love them, they are so sticky for a road tire, unfortunately not much tread life, about 1700 tops.... THIS M3, though lasts approx. 3500-4500 miles easy, depending on how you ride. And I can't tell much of a difference in traction from the gate... On track or off, I'm really digging the M3

Best tire for sport riders

This is my third M3 and though they don't fair well on concret highways in so cal, they are without a doubt the best performance tire I have ever used.
As far as Motorsport goes, what can I say, this is the finest company I have ever delt with, My salesman David Keogh was owesome, this man knows his stuff, wish all Parts Dept. People were half as good, not only was he that good, he saved me $175'00 on this tire!!

I ordered a set of these for my RF900R and now I put them on my Hayabusa and I still have great comfort. This rear tire is awesome and doesnt wear out too fast. It is great on corners and excellent in the rain. I love Metzeler's prebalanced tires cause it makes the install so simple that with a tire iron and elbow grease, i changed my tires in my living room and put them on in no time. Only brand for me. I think i will try the M5's the next go rouund

I love this tire. The M3 was a perfect fit for my RF900R. with the amount of touring and the occasional temptation for sports riding the Metzeler handles great. With Metzeler being prebalanced the install is simple. Just line up the stem between the marks on the tire and thats it. As long as your rim is not bent it is balanced and ready to roll. Will not move to another brand. Excellt in the rain too.

excelent tire, warms up fast and sticks to the road. its a softer rubber so its great for grabbing the road to wheelie but wears fast in a burnout. overall i give it 5 stars and definetly recommend it.

Nice Tire very sticky great for speed and handling recommended Thanks

Unfortunately, my bike was stolen and totaled before I could hit the twisties. It seemed to be sticky enough. Too early to tell about tire wear, but I assume its similar to the old M1s, which I've used previously to the M3 coming out. I would buy it again.
