Best RAZR ever!!!

I have been running RAZR's on my YFZ450 and Banshee for over 10 years riding MX and trails with zero flats or problems. Always wanted a RAZR2 that was smaller, lighter with wider spacing between the knobs. The 19x10x9 RAZR Ballance radial is the tire for me. The traction is so good and predictable. This really is a 19in. and is 2-3 pounds lighter than the RAZR2 20in. I can now do a sprocket and chain change to compensate for the lower gearing and increased torque.

These tires are great. Enough bite for gnarly hills but with the tread they give enough slip to go sideways without worry

Best rear tires I've owned

I've tried a number of different rear tires and these Razr Ballances are the best ones yet. They have great traction in dirt and sand and absorb bumps very well. While living in a town where ATVs are street legal, these tires also give a much smoother and quieter ride on pavement compared to other knobby tires.

Best tire ever

well i've been running maxxis tires for a while now & i've never been disapointed.... ive been in the off road tire business for 10 years & thers no doubt that radial tires are far better than bias ply tires. the traction & handeling is un matched... maxxis came out with the first good radial the irazr. i was hooked & wouldnt run anything else. as soon as i saw the balance razr i knew i had to have it... the tread is much meatier & deeper than the irazr. it's more like like a razr2 & a irazr put together.. this is simplly the best tire i ever had... i have a 08 z400 w/ 440 je big bore kit, hot cams & the works, i can schred tires with this thing & i have 5 rides on them in the hills of western PA. (tight & techenal, rockey & rutted, loose & muddy) & they show no signs of wear.... buy this tire & you will never run anything else. i cant wait to but the fronts to go with

GREAT TIRE

I never write reviews, but I have had these tires on my YFZ450 for two weeks now and LOVE them. I work and ride in some of the most demanding trails in the texas hill country at Hidden Falls Adventure Park, one word will descride the trails. "ROCKS" These tires never fail to hook up on just about any terrain. I cannot speak much for the durability yet but they seem to be holding up much better than the stock Dunlops. These are a MUST buy for anyone who wants tons of traction and great high speed handling and they roll so smooth.

I ride a lot in the trails with roots and big hill climbs, but i also ride in the sand and was wondering if these tires would hook up decently in sand?

Any knobby tire will work in the sand. A paddle is obviously ideal for traction. Many people have a separate sand paddle wheel/tire mounted so they can swap out when they ride the dunes for a day or so. We do offer tire/wheel builder packages to help you out with this.

Yes, these will fit your stock rims no problem. You can run 10, or 11 inch wide tires on the stock rims of your TRX450r. This will be a 6 ply tire so it is very durable compared to the 2 ply stock tires. The sidewall will not stick out much further and will actually hold up better than the stock tire and will be able to help protect the rim. This is specifically an offroad tire designed for the for rocks, tree roots and all of the nasty trails that are found in GNCC cross country racing.

What kind of maxxis tires should i get if i ride dirt and climb coal hills?

If you are riding in really rocky terrain, I would suggest a tire that is a 6-ply or stated as Heavy Duty. A majority of what we carry will have a tread pattern that will work great for you, but make sure you are checking out the 6-ply thick tire choices. This will be noted in the description of the product.

Are these tires an improved version of the razr 1's and razr 2's?

i do not believe so i have razr 2 on the rear of my dvx 400 and love them they do great through the mud and great traction on hardpack trails i think the tires your question is about is a new version of the razr 1 the lugs on the razr 2 are deeper and more aggressive
