Picture shows a quick connect, but it comes in a package with two posts. Also, there's no way to secure it to the original location on my '15 R6. I would recommend a TST instead to fit the stock location

Good Product

Probably the easiest thing to install on the bike (took about 30 seconds). You just plug it in and you're in business. As expected, it successfully slowed down my integrated sequential tail light flash rate. My only gripe is that it made my front led turn signals a tad faster, which isn't so major. Overall, it seems like a quality product and I'm happy with it.

Good product

I had a different brand relay that burnt out after one season, and bought this one to compare. So far, so good. Note: picture shows quick connect, mine, however, did not come this way so I had to cut the end off my burnt out one.

Just what you'd expect

No surprises here, used with my front turn signals.

Worked perfect, easily installed

Needed a flasher relay that would work with new LED turn signals on my DR-Z400S dual sport.

This one worked perfectly, and was a piece of cake to install. Was able to wire it in such as way as to allow me to easily flip back to the OEM flasher if necessary.

Great price, too.

Much better solution than heat-generating, current-sucking load resistors, IMHO.

Confused ?

Plugged It in and worked fine ! But a minute later It stopped working ?! Is it possible the relay gave out because my blinkers stopped blinking :(

Easy to use and install

This thing works GREAT ! ! I had installed the HotBodies flush mount turn signals on my 07 Gixxer 6, and had the fast flash issue since they were LED, once I figured out what wires to pull out of the relay and hook this one up to it was done in a "flash". Took about 10 minutes to install and works amazingly, No problems ! !

LED Flasher Relay

I tried a regular flasher using resistors and it would not work. I then tried this one and it worked perfect with my low amp LED's.

Works very well

it was a little hard to find out how to install but once I did fixed the fast flash issue

RIGHT ON!!! Soon as i got it, i slapped it on my YZF600R and couldn't be happier. Was as easy as lifting the seat, unplugging original relay and plug in the LP aftermarket. My undertail is finally complete!

Super easy install

It was exactly what i needed after my HB flushmounts and undertail...Take off 8 bolts and then it is right there! no more fast flash rate.

It works, but overall disappointing

I bought this relay for my 04 gsxr 600 that had LED rear turn signals when I bought it. I purchased this and the LP integrated tail light. I understand that this part is a universal fit, but some (any) instructions would be nice, at least how they want installed in the system.
Once I figured out where to splice this in on my bike, the only modification for me was to cut the terminals off that came with it and use some smaller ones to keep it plug-and-play. The relay DOES WORK at slowing down the blink rate to around normal, HOWEVER it made the LEDs about 50% dimmer than without the relay in the system. The front OEM signals still seemed to be about the normal brightness. Maybe this is just the way it works on this bike as again, it is universal. Overall It does work as intended to slow down the blink rate but I'd rather have a fast blink rate with bright lights than a slow blink rate with lights that can't be seen.

my relay is dropping the voltage so much my signals hardly work.

Needed for LED Lights

This is a very Item with the LED Lights but it came with no Instructions, but was able to tell which wire needed to go. It very possible that you will have to splice some wires, but other than not bad.

Do your research first!

This relay works great once it is installed however installation is the problem. Absolutely no instructions come with this product, in fact you even have to assume the black wire is the ground. Do your research on how and where this installs before you buy. installing a 20 watt 8 ohm resistor in line to each light may be easier. I have a 05 CBR600RR and I had to splice into the wires that goto the instrument panel. But in closing, if you dont mind the install it is a good product.

Worked like A champ!!

I have LED's at all 4 corners on my Honda RC51 and this is a simple 2 wire install that fixed my retardedly fast blinkers in 5 minutes W/O having to add dangerous in-line resistors!

Great product the only catch will not come with oem conector so you will have to get some wire connectors and do a little modification make sure you look up your original relay will tell you wich one is power and wich one go for the lights install on 5 minutes top if you got the right tools.

Flasher Relay

This is the best product on the market to slow down the flash rate on motorcycles. Its price and quality makes it the number choice.

Will it fit without doing any cutting or changing any wires around?

A: This relay will need to be wired into the harness on your 1984 CB700sc. The pictures are for reference only and the universal relay does not come with a plug to fit any specific bike. In addition I am not seeing a direct plug and play LED relay for this particular model.
Q: Will it work on my 1988 FZR 1000?

Over 3 years ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
A: The relay itself will absolutely work, the catch will be is that plug is possibly different on the FZR1000 compared to this relay. Unfortunately we were unable to confirm if the plug is for sure the same as the newer relays have a different OEM part number. Worst case in this situation, you may just have to cut the stock plug off the stock relay and wire it to this new relay. If you purchase the universal relay, it is the same as the the Yamaha specific relay, but does not include a plug for custom applications.
Q: Will the relay work for both OEM and LED lights?

I have OEM Bulbs turn signals and LED turn signals. Will the relay control the flash for both types of lights?
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
A: Unfortunately this is only designed to work with LED signals.
Q: Does this flasher relay come with installation instructions for the bike you order it for?

A: The flasher relay is a universal item and will come with generic instructions. This should be sufficient for any bike.
Over 7 years ago Location: Kalamazoo, MI
A: Actually this product comes with absolutely no instructions. The product does not even tell you if the black wire is ground or not.
Q: How many do i need?
I have a 06 CBR600RR, with front flushmount LED turn signals, and a intergrated LED tail light. How many electronic flashing units do i need to slow down both the front and rear turn signals? Or is there only one relay for front and rear turn signals?
MotoSport Staff Expert
Over 8 years ago Location: Portland
A: Only one relay is needed.
Q: How do you connect the Lockhart Universal Flasher Relay?
Over 8 years ago Location: New Lebanon,NY
A: Look up your factory relay will have to letters B and L B will go to your red wire on the LED flash relayand the L will go to your black wire if your factory relay don have the letters use a power tester to find wich one carries the power and conect wire to your red wire on the LED flasher relay
