I was a little skeptical paying over $200 for pegs, however, seeing other aftermarket pegs break completely off the bike, I wanted to ensure my own safety. The Lightspeed pegs are tough, I crashed without any damage to my Lightspeed foot pegs. They are slightly wider than stock but the main reason I bought these pegs over any other foot peg was the 1/4" lower height as my 2013 Honda CRF450R seemed a little cramped. The grip is great and overall if feel a bit more comfortable on my smaller framed Honda.

Bought these used and I'd have to say they're the best pegs I've ever run on my 2010 CRF250R. Not only do they give you a larger platform, but if you invest in the titanium version, you get great weight savings as well. If you're all about shaving weight off the bike and want something extremely durable, I highly recommend these.
I like the large platform and my feet never slip at all. The looks are amazing with the raw finish. Half the weight of stock pegs too!
cant say that i have used these yet, but they look pretty cool and fit well, they werent as light as i thought they would be, they weighed a little less than stock but not a considerable amount, nice pegs though.
Im sorry but I have to disagree with all of the previous posts. These pegs are garbage. They are not sharp at all and they provide no extra benefit over stock. They are wider so yes, I guess that is better than stock.. I am going to invest my money in a new set.
good quality peg, that holds up well
I had been wanting these for some time and wish I would of purchased sooner. Huge benefits to boot life and comfort of my YZ.
These pegs went on easily. They are wider as stated, better platform. The front edge is the same or close to the same distancew from the shifter, so no issues shifting. I race motocross with the bike and they have held up for months no issues they may be al little heavier than OEM titanium pegs but the difference isnt noticeable.
Got these pegs today and they are sick!! They mounted up reay easy and look awesome. They are quite a bit wider and longer than stock (see pic). I would definatey recommend them...they are a huge improvement to the stockers (granted I ride a Honda whos stock pegs are tiny).
there are a lot of peg makers out there, i really like these the best. It looks factory and is simple, yet very functional. These things are huge. Especially nice for hard landings. I'm not crazy into saving weight, so the SS version is perfect for me. The other option is, just don't eat that sandwich in the morning you ride. Although the welded Ti does look nice.
Like Ryan Dungey says "I'm Super Pumped" with these foot pegs. I wasn't sure on which foot pegs to purchase having a size 14 boot. I instantly felt 100% more comfortable with these. They are monsters compared to the stockers on my 02 CRF450. They are light in weight. Im glad I didnt spend any more money on a more expensive set. These are perfect.
The newer bikes have nice pegs, these are better. Doesn't tear up boots like Fastways, way bigger than IMS super stocker and distributes weight during landings far better than anything. These are high quality. I have the steel peg.
I love these pegs. They are 57mm wide.Which is 21/4" The stock pegs are 13/4" wide. These pegs give me more confidence and feel comfortable. The shifting feels the same as the stock pegs. The pegs don't look like the ones in the motosport picture, they look much better.Like factory pegs. The only reason i gave them four stars is because they were on backorder for eight months. If motosport has these pegs in stock, buy them asap.Motosport sent them out as soon as they received them and i appreciated that very much.I put these on my 2005 crf 450r.
I have purchased five sets of LightSpeed Titanium footpegs for five different bikes and each set has been perfect. Perfect fit, perfect width. I LOVE the feeling of wide footpegs and I don't like any of the other brands (besides Raptor Titanium but those are hard to find in the USA).
If you want wider, lighter footpegs these are the ones to buy.
These are huge compared to stock. They really help with transferring weight in corners and absorbing hard landings. I was afraid that it would be hard to get used to for shifting and braking but it basically felt the same as a stock peg. The only thing that kept it from 5 stars is they don't look that great.
One of these best foot pegs i have ever seen! plenty of grip from these pegs, super light. you either love or hate he look of them because they are completely natural, no extra wieght from chrome or anything
Bought the Light Speed SS foot pegs that fit the CR125/250 and CRF250/450. Installed them on my 07CRF450R. I took measurements of both the stock Honda pegs as well as the Light Speed. Here's what I found:
The LS peg's platform were 1/4 inch lower than stock. The distance from the front surface of the peg to the gearshift lever remained the same as stock so the peg centerline is further back on the LS than stock. The camber (angle of the pegs that help force your knees towards the tank for tank gripping) is slightly less on the LS compared to stock.
Very happy with the little extra peg to seat distance, as I'm tall - slightly bigger cockpit was a pleasant surprise. Glad the distance between peg front surface and shift lever remained stock so shifting feels like stock. Teeth are rounded so don't grip like IMS Pro Series but have a little better grip than IMS Super Stock Series. Grip is very similar to stock Honda pegs. When the pegs fold up, they stop at the designed foot peg stop, and the right peg doesn't hit the rear brake pedal pivot like other after market pegs - nice. There was NO grinding required to fix any minor problems - again, a nice surprise. LS did their design homework on these pegs and hit a homerun. Going to buy another set for my CR125R.
just would like to say the pegs are great my frend just bought thes pegs ,they are much wider than stock and nuch lighter!!!
anytime that you add an after market footpeg, your doing yourself a favor. I mean it's like your standing on a table there is, so much room.
I am a taller person with really big feet, so the bigger the foot peg the better for me. They were really easy to install.
