Replaced the original tires on my ATV with these brutes. Great grip in snow and mud, great durability and a great look-- made my older Yamaha Kodiak look and perform like a new machine. Great Price from Motosport and quick shipping too!

Getting there and back

Spent 10 day hunting in incredibility rough terrain, climbing steep hills, bouncing off boulders, straddling deep ruts, riding on large rocks and stone walls. W/O these tires, would never have ventured into canyons we hunted in.

Excellent tire for utility atv

Needed a heavy duty, aggressive tire for our club's ATV. This tire was an excellent choice, as well as it was inexpensive.

Good Tire

Got a full set of these tires for my Kodiak 450. From a look stand point it is a very nice looking tire. Bear Claw seems to offer a great performance for its value. I don't do deep mudding, most of my riding consist of lite mud with a lot of dirt, rocks, and downed tree branches or trees. So far they have held up good and gotten me where i need to go.

Great performing tire that looks good on my ATV

I own a ranch in the hill country of Texas and there is a lot of rough terrain with rock and old cedar and thick brush we have to ride through to retrieve downed game. These tires are performing as advertised, good traction when you really need it, I have not had a flat from riding over some really rough and rocky areas of my property like the tires I had on before this set. And they look good with the Bear Claw logo on the sidewall !!

These Kenda Bearclaw Rear Tires would not fit the stock wheels on the Honda TRX250 Recon. OEM Stock Sizes for a 2006 Honda TRX250 RECON Front Tire: 22x7-11 Rear Tire: 22x10-9

I have a 26 x 11R 12 will it be ok to install non r tire?

The "R" designates that it is a Radial construction tire. Bias type tires (non-radial) are often used on ATV, off-road machines and you can run the non R tire on your 2006 Polaris 4X4 Sportsman. It really depends on the type of riding you will be doing and what you are looking for. Radial tires are best suited for those looking for smoother rides, longer tread life, and higher speed riding. Radials tires tend to be more expensive than bias tires, mainly because they cost more to produce initially. However, this is also largely offset by the increased tire life and longevity. Bias design allows the entire tire body to flex, as the tread and sidewalls share the same casing plies. The flex allows for better gripping, better clean out, and conformity to rough and rocky terrain. Bias type tires are best suited for extreme off-road condtions where grip, cleanout, and traction are top priority. This tire flex in the bias constructed tire is also its major disadvantage, depending upon the application. Bias tires tend to wear out quicker and form flat spots compared to their counterparts. The flexing also means increased rolling resistance, and less control and traction at higher speeds.

Tire size variation?
I have 2006 Arctic Cat 400I 4x4, and the stock tire sizes are 25-8-12 for the front, and 25-10-12 on the rear. Would it be safe, ( no rubbing, grinding on the fenders, etc) to move up to 26-9-12 and 26-11-12, respectively? Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem running those sizes on your 2006 Arctic Cat 400I 4x4 auto but I would recommend first taking a look to see how much clearance room you have.

You shouldn't have any issues running theses wider tires on your 2014 honda foreman 500 4x4. However I would first take a few measurements to make sure you have enough clearance.

Are you able to get this in other sizes they are not listed on your page? Kenda makes them to fit a 11" rim, but you don't offer them.?

Will these work to replace a Maxxis 24x10x11?
I have a Honda Rancher with Maxxis 24x10x11 now, what size can I use since these don't come in this size?

ATV wheels and tires are made in multiple sizes for different machines. Wheels are listed as Diameter X Width Tires are listed as Height X Width X Wheel Diameter You will have to make sure the first number in the wheel size and the last number in the tire size are the same so that the tires can mount on your wheels. Keep in mind that we always suggest to use stock sizing for your machine.

I need 25 11-12. But you don't make that in Kenda bear claw. What's the next best size for me to use in the bearclaw?

The Kenda Bearclaw Rear Tire in a 25x10-12 would work just fine. When mounted, it will be just 1/2" shorter on each side.

Do they make a 25-11-10?
MotoSport Staff Expert

MotoSportRyanT
No. The Kenda Bearclaw is not offered in a 25x11-10 size. The closest size to that the in the Kenda Bearclaw would be the 25x12.50-10 rear tire.

What size tire will fit my 11x6 wheel?

No. This tire would need to be mounted on a 12 inch wheel. The common wheel size for this tire would be 12x8.

Will these tires tear up a yard?
MotoSport Staff Expert

With the aggressive and wide spaced knobby pattern on these tires they more than likely tear into grass and soft terrain. I would recommend looking for a tire that has the knobs spaced tightly, as they would not dig into the ground as much when accelerating.

If your ground is dry probably not, but if your grass/ground is just a little wet when new these tires can make a nice mess of your yard even at really slow speeds, at least in my experience with this tire.
