This is a great bag for a day ride sport bike. Well made, sturdy and predictably long life's. It is a little out of date with smallish pocket for newer mini computer size cell phone and round pocket for an old style CD player. However they are still useful pockets for smaller items. The main pocket is large enough for a compact rain suit and a few maps. It fits well on my Ducati tank without overwhelming the lines of the bike.
Overall a great daybag for a reasonable price point.

Motorcycle tank bag

Perfect for hauling a drink , snacks, tools, phone and much more. Why fill up your pockets or wear a book bag. Holds to tank very well , even when the bike comes up off the front wheel, trust me I know. Lol

I have the standard size Manta, and it's not huge. It fits well on the tank of my SV1000 and never gets in the way when riding. When going on longer rides I like to use it to hold everything that would normally go in my pockets (phone, keys, knife, wallet, etc). I modified the bag with a 12v socket for charging my phone or running the GoPro while I ride. I run a wire out a hole at the front, it connects to the pigtail for my battery tender. This makes it really handy and still easy to remove. This bag is handy for quick trips, but if you're looking for serious luggage then you'll want something a bit bigger.

Great little bag

Definitely small, but well made and perfect for a sport bike where you need to carry a few items and don't want a big bag in your chest.

Good value for the money.

A little outdated, but works and looks great.

I'm a little puzzled as to why there is discman pocket on a new tank bag in 2014. Not a big deal as it is still quite usable. For the money it's a great tank bag. It looks cool. It holds plenty of stuff, and it's easy to grab and take with when running errands and such.

Great product

Great product, i got tired of riding with a backpack, and stuff things in my jacket and pockets, the only downside was the magnet warped my tank protector. Overall great product.

Good product

Bought this for a Suzuki V- Strom. High quality, fits V-Strom really good, magnets are very strong. Only thing it's lacking is a place to put a map. No map pocket.

Perfect Size

Not a bad tank bag, even if it's on the smaller side. I can fit a spare visor, spare pair of gloves, sunglasses, turtle neck neck warmer, and the liner to my jacket in it, no problem.

I cut the rain liner out of it, since it took up a lot of room, and I'll never use it. The cell phone pocket is useful, and it allows to see a part of your screen. I use the CD player pocket to hold my wallet, and keys, since I haven't owned a "Discman" in about 15 years!

Unobtrusive Tank Bag

It took a really long time to get this item: months because it was on backorder. However, it finally arrived and I checked it for fit on my bike.

Pros: the entire back is magnetized as well as the wings. It holds strongly and securely to the tank. Kudos for that...I doubt it will fall off. The main compartment has a double zipper closure that allows you to adjust the position or side you want to open it from. It also has a small zippered pocket for the attached nylon cover to stash it away when it's not raining. The cell phone pocket on top has a small clear plastic window to allow you to see if your phone is ringing. My tank has a vicious angle toward the back as many do but this bag seemed to fit ok and did not block the fuel filler cap if I didn't want it to. It's a medium size bag that's not in the way when on the bike and comes with one detachable carrying strap. It seems sturdy but, I'll have to wait for a year or so of use to see for sure.

Cons: the lower pocket on top of the bag is designed for a portable CD player (does anyone use those anymore?) with a small rubberized hole for the headphones and cord to reach you from inside the pocket (a hole that will definitely let water in). With the advent of Ipods and Zune music players, I doubt anyone but some diehard CD fantatic is going to appreciate the pocket being designed for a player that no one uses. I have one...and I've not used it for ages: CD players skip and CDs are not nearly as portable as an Ipod. The bag does not expand (would be nice if it did). The bag comes with a warning that I did not expect: don't leave it on your bike for a long period or the magnet could take the paint off. I guess that's possible. I wonder just how likely it is?

GET IT!!!

I ride my ZX-6R to work almost everyday. In Florida, you can set your clock and remember at 3pm, it will rain. (in the summer) The bag has a nice rain cover built in and stowed when not in use.

I had this for my 08 CBR600RR and even though the magnets are strong, the CBR has a plastic tank cover and it just wouldn't stick.

On my 09 Kawi, it is PERFECT. Triple digit speeds do not budge this bag. It carries the essentials for me which are: Portable HDD, 2 cell phones, wallet, 1 can of soda, 1 bottle of water, and that is LIGHT...I can carry more if needed.

Once I get to work, I just hang it on my door since it is metal.

If you need something to carry your stuff on daily jaunts and not have it fly off...It's a great buy and you can't go wrong.

Nice size.

The size is perfect for everyday use without comprising space. I have short arms, so that is very important. I have a 07 Yamaha R1 and my bike tank is half metal and half plastic, and the bag still stays in place when I ride. If your looking for something other than a back pack, I would recommend this.

Small but useful...

I bought this tank bag for my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 650R. I had read the reviews for the item and knew full well that it was small; that being said.... IT IS VERY SMALL. I like the window through which you can see your cell phone face. The main compartment could fit two 20oz soda bottles and not much else; there are two pockets on the outside, one for a large wallet and the other for a cell phone. The magnets are incredibly powerful are well padded. It comes with a shoulder strap and a rain jacket. Great product but remember IT IS VERY SMALL.

Many Uses - Easy Storage

Okay, let me start by saying that before I even get it on the bike, it stores super easily.

The heavy duty magnets allow for my bag to stay stuck to the refrigerator when I don't need it or if I have the bike stored. When I get to work, it fits perfectly on the mini-fridge there too.

On the bike, it fits in a great manner and stays put no matter the circumstance. I have taken it slow, fast, windy, calm, and super hot conditions. The CD player holder seems a little obsolete to me, but I throw my money clip and other small things in that pocket. The phone case is a little bigger than my phone and makes it hard to see if anything is going on with my phone, but provides a great window for my GPS. :)

The main compartment is awesome. Easy to get in and out of and it holds a good bit of my day to day stuff that I don't always want to put in a backpack or that I need to get to quickly.

This bag gets top recommendations for anyone considering it. I bought it when it was back ordered and I am glad that I waited for it instead of canceling my order. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT!

Q: Fitting?

Will this item fit on a 2013 Ninja Ex300 and does it include he straps?

A: Yes this will fit on the tank of the 2013 EX300. It does not include straps for mounting as it is a magnetic tank bag and is only held on with magnets. It does include a shoulder strap for carrying the bag when it is not attached to the bike though.

A: Its a queston of finding metal for the magnets to attach. If your tank cover is plastic this might not work.

A: I'd measure your tank. The dimensions of the bag are listed, As long as the tank is wide enough and long enough for the bag to sit on top, the magnetic flaps will attach to the sides.
