Awesome Exhaust!!

Ordered this slip on to replace the Jardine GP1 due to losing low end torque on my 08 Zx-10r. Looks and sounds awesome. Easy installation..only took about 15 mins. Great quality fabrication. Only complaint is that u lose the stock metal plate on that covers the exhaust pipe. The Gp1 had brackets welded on for just that....really happy with this product........Hello low end torque..nice to see you again!!!

Not worth it

I put this muffler on my 08 GSXR 600 in the hopes of getting more sound. Although it is much lighter than the stock muffler, it did not increase the power and is not much louder than the stock muffler. The only way I got any sound out of the Jardine was by drilling out the housing rivets and removing most of the packing. Before going to that extreme, I would recommend just getting a megaphone muffler that is less expensive.

Good price and sound

Easy to install. Hardest part is getting stock heat-shield allen bolts loose. Be sure to get a tube of high temp silicone for the slip on pipe. Installation only took around an hour. Nice sound and look for the 250. Definately adds to the appearance of it being a larger sportbike

No, you won't have any more heat issues with an aftermarket undertail exhaust than you had with the stock undertail exhaust. As a matter of fact, carbon fiber silencers will run much much cooler than any kind of stainless silencer, just for the simple fact that they "push" out the heat of the exhaust much more efficiently. You will definitely notice a difference in running temperature any time you switch to a carbon slip-on...especially when running an undertail exhaust! So to answer your question, no...no damage will be caused as a result of running too hot.
