HP TOOLS SAFETY WIRE PLIERS KIT

I like to wire my grips.... Have for years the tool broke the first time I used it. The wire is to thin and will break before it snugs your grips down... The spring was also to weak to allow the dual to spin the way it was made to... Moto sport sells great stuff this just is not thier best.

Stronger Wire

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but after just a few turns, the wire supplied with HP Tools kit just breaks. I've seen several demonstrations at tracks (by mechanics) and several videos on the matter but when I start twisting the wire up, i get snappage 60% of the time. Lame. Still, I was able to secure my grips within 10 minutes and haven't had a slip yet. Another tip, I use extra hold hairspray to slid the grips on--screw grip glue!

Poor Quality

It does the job, but not very well. It's a good concept but poor quality.

Better than regular pliers

This is a mid to low quality tool. I've only used it for one set of grips, and they worked o.k. But obviously not much time was spent making them. They're better than regular pliers only because of the twisting action.

Great

The Pliers twist the wire uniform and tight. Wire only breaks when overtightened which is a user problem. Wire can be broken with any pliers if overtightened!

This was a great product for me the wire only broke if u twist it to hard but thats only if your not paying attention. All my riding buddies love it and ask where they can get one.

You Get What You Pay For

Pliers aren't great quality, and the wire will break if overtightened. Overall about what I expected for the price.

Worked very well!

Not sure why the other people had a hard time. it worked very well for me. The wire only broke in the wrong spot once.

Waste of Money

Pliers are cheap quality, and the wire breaks everytime I try to wrap my grips. I bought them to get rid of motogrip, but all the wire would do is break.

WAIST OF MONEY

The pliers are poor quality and the cutting edge can barely cut the wire. The wire thats included is really weak and it breaks most of the time before you can make it snug to the grips. extreamly dissapointing!
