Description Item #HSR000H

The "Pro Bounce Nerf Bars" are perfect for any woods rider, whether you like to cruise the trails on the weekend or are a competitive GNCC racer. The concave shaping allows you to pivot around trees with ease.

As you're riding, everything is moving and flexing. The flexing of your frame can cause cracks in aluminum welds if they aren't strong enough. Houser's bolt-on assembly eliminates welded aluminum, therefore - no cracks! This bolt-on assembly also means easy installation and you can replace individual parts.

  • Suspension Foot Peg:
    • Houser's patented suspension foot peg (US Patent # US 8,444,165) is the only peg in the industry that incorporates suspension! Houser has installed a rubber ball with progressive shock absorbing abilities under the convex foot peg. During bumps, the rubber ball compresses, soaking up vibrations, saving your legs and body from experiencing additional fatigue while riding. This allows you to ride harder, longer! Who wouldn't want that?
    • The convex shape of the foot peg optimizes grip on your boot without shredding it to bits.
    • Excessive amounts of mud adds extra weight to your quad and makes the peg slippery, and hard to stay on. The suspension foot peg has large mud cleanouts which helps prevent mud for sticking.
  • Tree Hugger:
    • Ever notice how racers will take whatever chance they can to pass another racer? Well, the Tree Hugger design is used exactly for that. The extra bend in the tube allows riders to pivot around trees and make faster corners, ultimately passing the competition.
  • Mounting:
    • Aluminum tubes mount directly to steel mounts.
    • As you're riding, everything is moving and flexing. The flexing of your frame can cause cracks in aluminum welds if they aren't strong enough. The bolt-on assembly eliminates welded aluminum, therefore - no cracks! This bolt-on assembly also means easy installation and you can replace individual parts.
    • Heel guards mount directly to the foot peg in both locations instead of to the frame or subframe. This also helps prevent cracks or damage from normal wear and tear, but also means you won't tear your frame apart if you rip one of these nerf bars off.
  • Nets:
    • Radius net loops help reduce net fray. No slits to tear the webbing.
    • High strength rivets hold on radius net loops. This means no welding, decreasing the cost of the Nerf Bar set.

I love dirt yfz 450 rider

This is a great product far better quality than my old set of nerf bars. I will buy more from Houser racing. They made installation for these as simple as it could be. Very few company's will give you directions listed step by step for what to do with color printed pictures of what it looks like. I also purchased Houser A-arms and the quality of them is big improvement to my factory A-arms.

The Cadillac Of Nerf Bars

-Easy Install
-Extra wide foot pegs
-Sexy
-Very stable
-Slight forward angle on pegs puts you into the attack position and works with my natural alignment... even helps with my shifts.
-The suspension is legit... standing on the bike you can see the dampening abilities of the peg system.
-Will keep me riding all out for that much longer.

Q: Wich difference is between the xc version and the mx version?
Are the only difference the width of the Bars themself or do have they have any difference in the Design? I ride a yamaha raptor 700 with houser pro Series 2,25" a arm long travel. Wich version, xc or mx, should i choose? And wich nerfbars do they have put on the raptor 700 in the picture i added, mx or xc? The stock Color from houser is Glossy black, is it able to get it from you, or Not?

A: The difference will be in the width. Overall width of on a Yamaha Raptor 700 2006-2014 with the MX nerf bars installed should be roughly 49" - 49 1/2". The Overall width with the XC nerf bars installed should be roughly 46 1/2" - 47". They will be black in color. I would recommend taking the width into consideration and measure to see which style would best suit your type of riding.

A: The version of this nerf bar we sell is a textured dark grey like shown in the picture. There are custom colors available directly from Houser but we only offer the one standard color nerf bar.

A: Yes they will fit. Just make sure when profiling the make, model and year, you select the 2013 YFZ450 and not the YFZ450R model.
