Very comfortable

This is the 5th helmet I have tried. It is so comfortable and plenty of room for my headset. Glad I didn't give up and thank you Motorsports for all your help!

Nifty helmets

This is the first time I have worn a modular helmet. I much rather these over normal full face. you can take a sip or smoke a joe with your helmet still on. the only thing i would have preferred is that they would have also had the tinted retractable visor. i did see some with that, but they were about $60-75 more than what I paid for these. With my wife and me needing new gear, it's everything times two. I knew I wanted to stick with the HJC brand, but wanted to get a lot of bang for my buck. Above all, we love them!

I love my gear!

Loud Helmet

This helmet is not worth the money. I am very dissapointed with the fit and most of all the noise. It sounds like I have two hair dryers attached to my ears. The wind noise is terrible. I must where ear plugs with this helmet. I wore is one time and it has been placed on the shelf in the garage since then. I took my wife for a ride and she even said it sucks. I have two other HJC helmets, all size medium, that fit better and have much better sound control. This helmet barely comes below my ears and the jaw is too open even for a modular. Given I have two other HJC helmets I am surprised about the different fit. I also feel this sits tall on the head and I am constantly trying to pull it down further.

I am not happy with this helmet at all and will be writing to HJC as well.

I ride a 2009 Kawasaki Versys with the stock windshield..

A: For the HJC CL-MAX 2 Helmet you would need the HJC HJ-17 Shield.
