Does not work

Just finished a bottle. Took two a day every morning before breakfast. Did not notice a difference. I would not suggest this to anyone. The price is way to much but we were desperate. Race intermediate on a weekly basis and nothing changed through the period of taking the pills. Do not buy. Those who said it worked probably took it beginning of season as arm pump goes away for most throughout and also possibly a mental deal.

The real deal

Let me start by saying I know not every supplement works for everybody. I also know arm pump sucks - I've been dealing with it for years. I train casually 3 times a week and try to hit the treadmill for 20 min at a time... so not perfect fitness but pretty decent.

I bought hemoflo from the manufacturer at the start of the season, and I can say without a doubt this worked for me. Not going to jinx this by saying it is 100% gone, but I can finally ride the local Colorado tracks with a smile on my face because I'm not getting the pump.

When you can find this on sale... it is a must have - that's why I bought the special on from Motosport.com.

All I can say is try hemoflo it can really affect your riding in a positive way.

Not safe for everyone

Two of the listed ingredients in this product are natural blood thinners. Riders should use this with caution, there is the possibility of increasing your chance of bleeding worse than you normally would if you get a cut or scrape. Talk to your doctor before you take this stuff please.

Save you money

Take this money and put it towards a gym membership, or maybe a good pair of running sneakers to improve your cardio, or gas for the bike etc.

I bought Hemoflo a month ago and have been taking it daily as the instructions say. I don't get horrible arm-pump but it will start to set in after a long moto. I race Intermediate motocross.

I see no dramatic improvement. Maybe it has helped for an extra lap but I doubt it. The price alone is not worth the *possible* benefit from it.

Save You Money: Ride more and focus on better technique. This is not the instant cure to arm pump.

Happier Life

My husband has ben plagued with horrible arm pump over the past couple racing seasons making riding less than enjoyable. Since starting Hemoflo, my husband has had notably improved blood flow through his hands (no more numbness from having them in the wrong position when he sleeps). We have not yet hand the opportunity to see how this has effected his arm pump on the track(lost our bikes in a fire and just starting to rebuild), but I am hopeful it will make riding fun again, and we will continue with the Hemoflo no matter what simply because it improved his quality of life in general.

It actually works!

Like every serious racer, I've tried it all to get rid of arm pump. I wasn't going to try hemoflo but broke down when I read other reviews - this stuff worked within a week. I'd say I'm 90-95% arm pump free... for the first time in a decade. Couple of small pills a day (I took double the first day to kick start things).

Pretty good

Took for a week before a ride, noticed a difference was able to put down more laps and seemed to help keep arm pump at bay. only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the price.

WOW THIS STUFF ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!

I suffered from extreme arm pump being a nervous beginner rider. But after reading online reviews of HemoFlo I decided to give it a try. After being on it for 1 1/2 weeks I have eliminated my arm pump while riding, I can go on longer and still have feathering control of my clutch pull. I love this stuff and swear that it works for me.

A: With any sports supplement, we recommend that you read the entire label and check with a qualified healthcare practitioner before starting to us it. Everyone's physiology is different and reacts differently to various ingredients. HemoFlo does contain a natural form of Aspirin, which can interact with certain medication.
Attached is a list of ingredients.

Q: What's the differance between this and taking asprin?
2 years 2 months ago
i used to take a couple of aspirin before a race and put two more in my water bladder when competing in a 5 to 6 hour off road event. it helped tremendously with both arm pump and cramps. the downfall to thinning your blood though is injuries are magnified from it and it will make you bleed and bruise more. swelling seems to be worse as well.

A: pipesmasher - HemoFlo is significantly different from Aspirin. The key ingredient in the product is NSK-SD, and there is research on blood clotting with this ingredient. Here is the excerpt from the research, showing normal blood clotting or wound healing. This is important to all riders and racers. I am the CEO of ACTIONETIX, and this safety data was extremely important to us.

Test preparations of pure nattokinase and NSK-SD (bulk powder plus capsule contents) were tested in a series of in vitro experiments in human plasma. Test concentrations (0.2 to 1.6 FU/ml) were calculated as twice the plasma concentration of the highest recommended dose (4,000 FU) assuming 100% bioavailability in a 5-liter average blood volume (JBSL is currently completing human bioavailability studies). In this system, the functional ability of fibrinogen to form fibrin in response to thrombin was not altered by concentrations of 0.2 to 0.8 FU/ml nattokinase. Only at the highest concentrations of 0.8 and 1.6 FU/ml did nattokinase reduce the quantity of fibrinogen. This finding suggests that nattokinase will not affect the body’s ability to respond to tissue wounding, when taken at usual intake levels (Ero and Lewis, 2008).

A: HemoFlo is not like Asprin. With Aspirin, the mechanism of action actually impedes your ability to clott your blood in the thinning process. As mentioned, the core ingredient in HemoFlo actually improved blood flow through the hands and fingers by 400% on average (as shown with Periscan II tests) allowing it not to pool in the forearms, and does not negatively affect clotting. Other ingredients in the product such as Cramp Bark have monographs from the World Health Organization showing effective use in muscular cramping, which often accompanies arm pump and dehydration. Further support ingredients increase your body's ability to deliver oxygen to working muscles and relieve carbon dioxide and lactic acid, particularly when you are flaunting with your lactate threshold around 4mMol/L.

Feel free to go to www.ACTIONETIX.com/hemoflo and review a more in-depth discussion on the product.

Hope this helps!

Q: Do you have to take these pills each day or can you take them only on days when you ride/race?

A: This would be a daily suppliment.

These are the basic directions from HemoFlo: "Take two Veggie Capsules with a large glass of water before your first meal of the day. Repeat daily whether you are training or not."
*Note: Be Sure to Read the entire label before use and follow all directions.

Q: Blood thinning?
2 years 11 months ago
As a cardiac cath lab tech I am curious to how much this thins your blood? Seems like it could be dangerous in the event of crashing and having any cuts or internal bleeding. If your blood is thinned what's going to stop the bleeding. Does this slow clot time? Thank you

A: Burton3 - the core ingredient in HemoFlo has clotting research performed on it to confirm normal clotting even at high doses (more than in HemoFlo). This was very important to us for the safety profile on the product.
