Definitely worth it

It's great and easy to put on. Just don't lose the washer on the back of the original

Quality stuff

Hammerhead is quality for sure. Every HD piece I have on the bike is going strong still. I needed the adjustability of the brake tip and its prefect!

Q: Which brake pedal is longer?
I wear a size 13 mx boot and im looking for more length. The differences between the forged and billet is two mounting locations vs three mounting positions. Which one is longer?

A: The tip mounting locations for our forged brake pedals are the same as the tip mounting options on our billet brake pedals: stock position, -10mm shorter than stock, and +10mm longer than stock.

Please note the "non-stock" locations allow for an adjustment of plus/minus 10mm, NOT 5mm.

Q: Which Brake Pedal to choose?
1 year 2 months ago
Looks like you have 3 brake pedals for that fit my 2007 Yamaha YZ250w1. What is the difference between the "Hammerhead Forged Brake Pedal" and the "Hammerhead Billet Brake Pedal"?

A: The solid billet construction is going to be slightly stronger than the forged. As well as offering a few other options listed below.

Billet:
- Precision machined using 6061-T6 aluminum
- Three optional locations for brake tip to fit your riding preference
- Four brake tip options to also fit your preference
- Equally precision machined Brake Clevis (included)
- Brake Snake to prevent damage in a crash (included)
- Optional Pro Spring Kit for better spring placement (sold separately)

Forged:
- Forged using 6061 aluminum
- Two optional locations for brake tip to fit your riding preference
- Four brake tip options to also fit your preference
- Equally precision machined Brake Clevis (included)
- Brake Snake to prevent damage in a crash (included)
- Optional Pro Spring Kit for better spring placement (sold separately)

Q: Clevis & fitment 2007 CRF230F?
1 year 7 months ago
website & package indicate brake pedal comes with a c;levis; however, CRF230F has a rear drum brake connected to a horizontal rod. is there still a clevis for this model or does this model no include a clevis? If it does not incl a clevis shouldn't it be less $$$ and also indicate so on the website & package? Also do you have any instructions how to install this for th CRF230F?

A: The clevis would not be needed for the drum brake set up on your 2007 CRF230F and therefore would not be included. Unfortunately Hammerhead does not provide installation instructions. Feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

Q: So, does this come with a tip or not?
1 year 10 months ago
The description is a bit unclear. Is this just the lever, clevis, and snake? Do you have to buy a pedal (tip) separately?

From what I understand, this pedal will fit a klx140L with a washer installed behind the pedal. Is this correct?

Q: Can i get this in blue for a 2006 KX450F or is it only available in green?

A: The Hammerhead Forged Brake Pedal for your 2006 Kawasaki KX450F is only available in green. You could also order just the blue pedal tip separately and swap it for the green pedal that comes on the lever for your bike. Unfortunately, the brake clevis for your bike would only be available in green, so it could not be switched out for a blue clevis.

You can find the replacement tips here:
