Good deal

This head was way worth the money. i ceased my quad up and everything was done. replaced my old head with this and the ports are twice the size and the cams are quite a bit bigger. i have had power out of this that my quad never had i would recommend this product. i have dealt with mechanics who do their own porting and nothing i have had done made a difference like this did.

Q: I have a 2012 YZ250F with the GYTR head kit and a Cylinder Works 270 big bore kit. Will 93 octane pump gas run fine with these mods?

A: For optimum performance a race gas would be recommended.

A: There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.

A: This head uses stock OEM valves and springs. You can use any aftermarket valves and and springs in this head that would work with the stock head. The valve seats are a custom item and not available directly from Yamaha. Aftermarket valve seats are available or custom seats can be made by machine shops and installed also.

A: When I put this on my 2010 I used kibblewhite valve and springs. Does super awesome in bottom through top end rev.
