it does the job and has a larger opening so you must also have the gytr adaptor plate .

Woke the little TTR50 up!

This filter was easy to install and after re-jetting the carburetor it really helped out with the mid to upper RPM power.

For YFZ450R / YFZ450X application, you must use GYTR® Billet Air Filter Adaptor Plate.

Normally when installing a High Flow Air Filter only minor jetting changes are needed, if any at all. If your bike is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this High Flow Air Filter. I would recommend installing the Air Filter and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary.

For your Yamaha TTR50 it will be a two-stage foam filter.

Unfortunately the adaptor for the 2001 Yamaha Raptor 660 is no longer available from Yamaha.

Fabric or foam?
Is this a fabric filter as the image suggests, like a k&n? Or is it a foam filter?

Unfortunately the picture is for reference only and not an exact representation of the filter you would receive for your 2013 YZ450f. The GYTR filter specific to your bike will be a foam type filter.
