Compact in size and lightweight, the Turbinecore spark arrestor system uses the exclusive "Turbine Dampening System" making it a U.S. Forest-approved silencer. Now older machines can be U.S. Forest legal with an updated factory look and sound. Re-packing is made easy as there are no rivets to drill out.

- Constructed of an extruded aluminum canister with nickel-plated stinger and concave end cap.
- Fits stock pipes as well as aftermarket pipes (unless noted).

This is by far the coolest looking silencer for a 2-stroke 500. I wish I had some options with end cap colors, but still awesome. I didn't lose any power or nothing noticeable in this department. The biggest issue was a sticker that was on the inside of the silencer that I can't power wash off.
Everything was great with the purchase. I actually started out buying plastics for my old 1990 cr250, (which I couldn't find anywhere but here) then decided to skip the plastics and get a silencer instead. Customer service was very helpful and I was able to return the plastics the same day and received my silencer a few days later. Will be doing further business with motosport for sure.
I say it's better than stock, but only slightly. I have to have a spark arrestor where I ride, and this is a spark arrestor. It rubs on the sub-frame, but only a little...
ALONG WITH MY KX 500, I NOW ALSO OWN A CR 500. IT CAME WITH THE TURBINE CORE SILENCER AND A BEAT UP STOCK PIPE. THE EXHAUST SOUNDED AND LOOKED BAD. I WENT WITH THE PRO CIRCUIT PLATINUM PIPE AS AN UPGRADE,HOWEVER LEFT THE SILENCER ON IT. MUCH BETTER, HOWEVER, I'VE NOTICED THAT THE FMF FOREST LEGAL PIPE HAS A MUCH MORE ANNOYING METAL BAFFLE "CLICKING" NOISE TO IT OPPOSED TO THE PRO CIRCUIT FOREST LEGAL SILENCER. INSTALLED THE PRO CIRCUIT 304 ON THE CR, SOUNDS MUCH BETTER.
Looks great, sounds great, fits great and is legal in the forest with no loss in power. A no brainer!
