Turbine core

It works really well and it gives my bike a bigger bike sound. From a distance, my dad says it sounds like an Rm 465.

FMF Q

I've used this silencer on both a 2007 KTM 300XCW and a 2003 Honda CR250R, and a friend used it on a 2006 KTM 200XC. Excellent silencer, really mellow tone but still provides a healthy two stroke note when you rip on it, looks great, install was a breeze, and no durability issues to speak of. If you have to have a spark arrestor and noise is a concern, I can't recommend the FMF Q enough.

Good buy

Bought this silencer for my 03 kx250 and it didn't do too much for power but it sounds great. Nice and quiet. Well worth the money in my opinion.

A few flaws

so i bought this for my rm85 and i like it.. but ,, the thing i do not like is that when i put it on my 2003rm85 it is hit by the wheel when i land off a jump almost needing a thick washer to keep it away.. and another thing is that i might just be used to it now but it does not seem to cut down on noise very much

Q: Spark arrestor or not?
The photo shows a US Forestry Service Spark Arrestor approval, and the description mentions it is the quietest legal spark arrestor. Yet there is a question on here asking if this is a spark arrestor, and the answer was no. So which is it?

Q: Will this fit with a fmf fatty gold series, I have a shorty on rn and it Boggs out will I need to re jet it with this?

A: Yes the FMF Turbinecore 2 Q Silencer fits aftermarket pipes as well as stock pipes. If your bike is currently jetted properly you will likely not have to make any changes after installing this slip-on. I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike.

I would recommend installing the exhaust and riding the bike to see how it is running then tuning your carburetor from there if necessary. Also the FMF Turbinecore 2 Q Silencer (94db) would be slightly quieter than the shorty on your 2003 Kawasaki KX100.

A: FMF does not list any sizing for their products. I would suggest to Google search your bike with this exhaust to see if you can find any pictures online to help you make your decision on purchasing.
