Great product

Purchased this combo with the titanium header. Definitely felt a noticeable difference in power throughout the entire range of my throttle. This setup looks great, sounds great, and was very easy to install. Worth every dollar!

Wake up Call

If you want to awake up your YZ450 this is the way to go. Makes a big difference. You will notice as soon as you twist the throttle. You will need to rejet but it isn't as big a deal as you might think. Just follow the others on the 4 stroke websites for your elevation and you are good to go.

Great

Went on a 2009 RMZ 250. Install was a no brainer very easy simple bolt on deal. Sound is good, not too loud (which is good). Pretty much on par with the other exhasts ive had, helps the bike rev quicker, added a much needed boost on the top end, help pull out of corners better. Had quite a few big crashes with the pipe installed and all seems well with it, its been holding up very well.

Good bang for your buck

I put this system on my 2009 yz250f and i immediatly noticed a difference in the sound, which was much nicer and more aggressive, but also the power output. 09 yz250fs dont have the best engine but this system definatly helped in the bottom end and a little up top as well.

WAKE YOUR BIKE UP TODAY!!!!

I put this system on my 2007 CRF450R which in stock form is a POWER HOUSE!! But a after putting this system on it brought me a whole new name to POWER HOUSE!! It with out a doubt woke that bike up and brought new life and more power to it. The system was very easy to put on and the only thing that was weird to me for a minute was it didn't use any claps like the old stock one but it uses high temp. Selacone to seal it. Which in the end works great! It also came with a free wash plug. This system is worth every penny for the styling and most important the tons of extra power you can't beat GREAT BUY!!!!!!!!

Great Purchase/ Easy Installtion

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, is the best way to describe this pipe. I put one on my 04 crf 450, woke it right up. Much lighter then the stock system, and very easy installation. A little pricy but definatly worth the bucks. I didnt have to mess with jetting at all just a bolt on and ride. I definatly recomend getting the FMF spring puller tool, with this if you dont already have one, if not im sure a pair of needle nose plairs would have done the trick.

Nice system, big power increase

I threw one of these systems on my 07wr450 and it really woke the thing up. The system looks great, and went on very easily. It weighs considerably less than the stock setup, and the muffler repacks fairly well. The only downside for me is that the system is so light it doesn't hold up all that well to the brutality of enduro riding. I think it would be less of a factor on a motocross bike. All in all, a good system though.

Q: What is the recommended jet for this setup for my 07 honda trx 450r?

A: There is not a specific setting I could give you for jetting your bike. It would really depend on your location (altitude/temperature) and how your bike is running with the current jetting. Jetting can be very tricky, there isn't one setting that will work everywhere with every bike. I would recommend taking your bike to a local motorcycle dealership’s service department to have your bike properly jetted.

A: Yes, typically after installing a full aftermarket exhaust system you will need to re-jet your carburetor. I would recommend taking a look at the JD jet kit that will come with jetting instructions for your 2007 Kawasaki KX250F which you can find here: http://www.motosport.com/dirtbike/JD-Jetting-Jet-Kit

Q: What would be a better choice for a 2007 wr450f?
2 years 6 months ago
Im looking for a system that will give better power and sound to my wr450. I cant decide between the yoshi rs-2 comp or the fmf factory 4.1 with megabomb . They both seem like good systems but im not sure which would benefit me more

A: Both are great exhaust systems and you can't go wrong with either. I would recommend the FMF with Megabomb header for your 2007 Yamaha WR450F. The Megabomb header will give you a little more top end as well. Also, feel free to give us a call at 888-676-8853 and we would be happy to help you out with your order.

A: Yes. The FMF Factory 4.1 Exhaust System is made for your Honda CRF150R and it would also improve the performance of your bike over the stock exhaust. When switching to a full exhaust system you may need to re-jet your carburetor after installing the exhaust. Just be sure to correctly select the Year/Make/Model of your bike before ordering so we can be sure to send you the correct Exhaust System for your bike.

A: I have used both the PowerBomb and the MegaBomb on a Suzuki RMZ250 and while both offered great gains over the stock header, I would say the MegaBomb gave better overall performance. The unique design of the header allows for better low end torque similar to a long header while also improving top end power much like a short header. It also gives the bike a great sound without it being obnoxiously loud.

A: You always want to check your jetting after installing a complete system. Depending on where you are at and what mods you already have done to your bike you may only need to play with the fuel screw, but the easiest way to do it is install the exhaust, see how the bike responds, check the plug for any indication that the jetting needs to be changed and take it from there.
