BEST PACKING!!!

this is the best packing ive ever used. it comes in a big sheet that you just wrap your silencer with. i will never buy any other brand packing because its soo hard to install this one isnt all stringy like other brands do it. WARNING: wear gloves the fibers in this packing will irritate your skin. thats normal to expect from any packing though.

It seems to work

I have never repacked a silencer before. It was easy. However there seems to be no exact method to performing this job. Not sure how tight/loose to pack this. Looks like since my son races a KX65 with a shorty silencer, I will be able to repack it again with the rest of the packing not used. Bike seems to sound less pitchy.

Great except for one thing...

The only thing holding this back is that there isn't quite enough for two applications. I had enough for my YZ250 with maybe enough left for a 125 or 80, but not quite enough for another 250, which would have been nice. But they don't claim it's for more than one time, so I can't really fault them for it. Seems to be durable, one side is thick and dense but still easy enough to stuff in the muffler.

GREAT item.....

This silencer packing is the best in my opinion. Its a great price and so easy to use and is WAY better then the stringy cr&p that i bought from FMF. Thumbs up FLY

NICE

Good solid packing that is easy to cut and pack. Was able to get great flow and keep the required back pressure. Great for repacking my R304 silencer.

Yes, the Fly Muffler Packing will work just fine for 2-stroke or 4-stroke mufflers. You may need to cut excess packing depending on the length of your canister.

How many packs?
Im guessing since the description says 2x the packing 4 1/2 the price I only need 1 pack 4 a fmf shorty. Right?

Depends on what bike, sometimes the can length are different from bike to bike, but the stuff is cheap so pick up two packs to be safe. If you dont end up using it, i'm sure you will down the road. It's always nice to have spare packing.

Can i use this to pack a white bros carbon pro 2 exhaust?

This packing will work for the Carbon Pro II. Just make sure you preserve the metal weaved mesh that wraps around the baffle, as this is not replaceable. when you take the exhaust apart you will see what I'm talking about.

I would get the four stroke packing to pack the white brothers exhaust.
