Billet Kill Switch

Great product! Seems to work good. I have only two minor complaints.

Ones is every time you see a picture of these switches it has a black
button which looks cool on all of the anodized Aluminum colors, but this is not what you'll get!! The buttons all come RED which look a tad cheap in my opinion.

Second is the price which is more than twice that of the OEM switch which comes all black!!

Fly Killswitch

First off, the killswitch is definitely better than the stock on my 06 crf 250r. The stock would literally fall apart in my hand and was cumbersome to reassemble and try to mount at the same time while holding it together. This kill switch did clean up my bars but think fly could make this alot better by giving you a kill switch with the same connectors that the stock used. This would just allow you to unplug the stock and plug in the new. Instead, I had to use about 6 inches of wiring from the stock kill switch, in conjunction with the wiring provided on the fly killswitch, to give me enough length to mount the new killswitch in the same place as the stock one. I had to connect the wiring with 2 crimping connectors provided and used a heat gun to close up each end of the connectors. I wasnt comfortable leaving it like this, so i also used electrical tape to shield from the elements. I am saying all this as this could be alleviated if the proper connectors were already on the wires to keep all the wiring clean and less connectors means less that can go wrong. Just my two cents but it does work and not sure on durability as I only have one ride with it. Note in my photos that there is no white fly logo on the kill switch either.

A: Yes this comes with wires. In the description it list: Switches use a waterproof splicing connector so they can be used to fit all brands and years of motorcycles. All that is needed to install is to cut the wires to the stock connector and splice them into this new switch.

Q: GSXR 1000 Safe Clutch Switch + Fly Billet Kill Switch?
Hello !! I own a GSXR 1000 2010 (K9 Model) and the clutch has to be pulled in every time I start the bike. This is not a big deal though... however I wanted to replace my OEM clutch lever/perch for another lever that does not support the Safe Clutch Switch which is attached to my OEM lever/perch. There are 2 wires attached to my OEM lever/perch, so I was wondering if the Fly Billet Kill Switch would temporarily by-pass the Safe Clutch when its button is pushed? I have no problems on pushing the start button + the Fly Billet Kill Switch to start the bike, I just need to get rid of my OEM lever and install a better one. If I just connect both wires together, the bike will start, however the fuel map will be stuck in Neutral map, since the ECM will think that the clutch is always pulled in. So that's why I need something to work just temporarily when I start the bike and then release it off, just like the OEM clutch does (pull in to start the bike, then release it off). Any help will be great !! Thanks !!

A: This switch would be able to perform the function you are looking for. It will need to be wired correctly but it does function in the same way as your clutch switch does.
