Great pants!

My husband and I are both around 5'10" and these pants are slightly on the long side but it's how I like them. They are too baggy for my taste but they grow on you. The vents are great and the pockets are large and convenient. They do stick to my knees as I get sweaty when I'm riding which is a little annoying. However, we both love our pants and would buy them again. You can't beat them for the price. We are in Florida but we haven't had a chance to try them out in the hot summer. So far we've been happy from 50 degrees to 90 degrees.

Great buy!

Got these pants for a great price! These are awesome! There are several pockets to hold keys and wallet and many more ventilation spots. If it gets hot out (like it did for me) the comfort of having the zip off was awesome! Great pants I highly suggest purchasing a pair. Not sure about the durability only wore them once.

Awesome Pants

Didn't fit at first cause I ordered the wrong size. Motosport sent me a Free Shipping Label and shipped me the right size literally the Next Day. Very impressed. Good Customer Service. Pants holding up well for Hard Trail Riding

Good pants

Fit was true to size. Very comfortable. Lots of pockets and vents. The only disappointment was one zipper blew out after my first ride.

I went away for a four wheeling trip for a few weeks and I had an issue with the vent and pocket zippers on the first pair that I ordered breaking. I notified motosport and they sent me out a new pair right away. I haven't had an issue with a new pair yet. The Dual velcro straps on the legs help keep them in place and multiple vents help keep you cool while riding.

Great Pants

Great Pants for the money.
Look well vented and well made. I am not sure about the durability of the Velcro closures on the lower legs once they have been subjected to mud, I worry they will lose effectiveness but haven't had a chance to try them out yet

Overall very pleased with them.

Quality not the same as my Klim pants, but the price point is considerably lower so it is to be expected. As most pants seem to get wrecked from snagging, exhausts and pegs it makes sense for me to buy cheaper pairs more often

Don't like

Too many straps, Velcro that didn't add to usefulness and when clinched caused overlapping and bulking up of material. I was looking for simplicity, just a durable pant but got this over strapped pant. Never wore, sent back after trying on.

Great riding pant but pretty long!!

These fit very well. I wear a 36 in jeans and so I ordered a 36. Waist fits perfect and there is some room to make them bigger or smaller for those before Thanksgiving and after Thanksgiving rides.... The length on the other hand is a bit out of control. I mean they will work but it would be nice if they were a little shorter (like me)

I'm 5.10 so I think if you are 6.1 or taller they will be good. I'm still going to use them though. Maybe get a tailor to bring them up a bit. Great price and great pants. Very comfortable waist.

Easy in and out

Great pants for the price. Material is strong and forgiving. Waist fasteners give wide range size fitting. The pant leg opening opens in the back all the way up to the knee making it easy to get in and out of muddy or wet pants. It also helps in taking your boots on and off. Plenty of room for pads. Lots of zipper vents. Good pockets. Knees zip off into shorts. Love 'em.

Runs large

I normally wear a 40 waste in Levi 501's. I wanted to be sure I could get some long johns on for cold weather riding. 42's were huge! Exchanged them for 38 and I still have the perfect amount of room for under clothing. If you have long legs, and like long pants, these are for you. If you have a short inseam, these may not be for you. They are long. So far, these pants are awesome!

Long yes but so are my legs

I am 6' 5" and usually wear 36 inch inseam pants. I usually have a hard time finding gear that is long enough for my arms and leg. I purchased a size 40 (I weight 275 lbs) and for once, the pant legs are long enough to cover the entire leg of the boots. They don't drag, they don't sag, they fit just right. The quality of the material is top notch. I will not hesitate to purchase other Fly brand gear.

Shaq pants

i believe pants would have been great if the sizing was more accurate or at least disclosed. im 6 feet tall with a 32-34 inch inseam. i purchased 38 waist riding pants for loose fit for comfort etc. the pant legs were so long i could have tied them in knot below my feet. i hope for better luck on reordering new pants and i will ask more questions prior to purchase.

A: No the Fly Patrol Pants would not be waterproof.

A: No. They are quite thick. A bit warm for summer riding but they lots of vets. If you get splashed a bit most likely you stay dry. I've ridden these pants in the rain and I got wet. If you waterproof pay extra for klim gear.

Q: Do these tend to run large in the waist? I wear a size 31 in jeans, so I'm wondering if I should get a 30 or 32 waist size.?

A: I would recommend the size 30. The 30 fits 30.5 - 32in (77.5 - 81.3cm) waist. (see sizing chart tab)

Q: Is the number next to the color for the waist or for the length of the pant ?

A: Yes, the number next to the color is the waist. These run long in length, so if you have a short inseam, plan on cinching up the straps and having bulges around the bottom of your legs. I wear 40 x 34 Levi 501's, and I ended up ordering size 38 and they fit great. Perfect length for me (but I hate short pants too). Good luck!
