Pass these up

I bought a pair of these, well they are the older version and I wouldn't waste my money on them again. After one season with maybe 5-8 rides in the woods some of the buckles have already tore loose from the boot, and some of the material on the boot is cracking. I could see this if they were abused, but this was from just normal riding conditions with nothing overly abusive done to them. I will say they seem to have protected my ankles, but they aren't worth the money unless your looking for a boot to last 1 season. I've had good luck with other fly products, this is really the only bad product I've bought from them, but IMO it is a good decision to spend a little more on boots now because it will save you money in the long run.

Buckles seem a little cheap hope they hold up. True to size, besides buckles boots seem as expected. Shipping took forever

Very good boot for the price. Not quite as good as the Kinetic but certainly worth considering.

Fly Racing Maverik boot

I purchased these after being off a bike full time for 10 years. I used to wear A/stars that had a horrible pressure point on the top of my foot and I had a hard time getting the boot under my shifter. I have none of these issues with these boots. They stick well to my foot pegs, I can shift fairly easy and find the brake just fine. I like a lot of arch in my foot wear and these are fairly flat.

Since returning to motocross I have been using Fly racing primarily because they make a competitive product at a good price but what separates them is their customer service and racer support.

Excellent boots

Bought these boots last year. Stitches are starting to come out, but that's what you get for running it hard. Halfway through my 2nd season on my first pair of boots. No complaints what so ever. Comfortable after breaking them in. Excellent boots for holding up for this long.

Nice boot for the price

the only problem with these boots so far is the screws on the straps will back out so make sure you tighten them after every ride they fit well and do there job probably will not purchase a second time.

Good pair of boots to begin with, but once I got more serious with jumping and goin fast I broke my ankle in these boots. Depending on how hard you plan on riding you might think about getting something with more protection ultimately having to spend more money.

Awesome boots

These boots are durable and easy on the wallet. The straps are nice and fit perfect. I ordered the same size as my shoe size. I've rode with these boots probably 8 times. (around 35 hours) They actually keep the water out pretty well. Still holding up. Fly will be my next pair.

Awesome!

Great product! It definitely needs some break in time but after that they are great! No problems with them yet. Looks great and will stay looking great if you keep them clean just like your bike!

Cheap boots but worth it for the beating.

Bought these boots, fit nice, feels ok to walk in.. Buckles broke the first day out and wasn't trashing them either just went to tighten it and snapped. I have no idea where to buy a new buckle. I just deal with it. They work fine, 2nd time out I road six hours, no blisters or pain...just not waterproof! But i needed a snorkle to this time..haha

You get what you pay for

these were the cheapest boots i could find on the site and my only complaint is that one of the clamp/lever things broke the first time i put them on. i didnt even ride with them yet. other than that i like the look and feel of the boots and i would still recommend them to a friend

Nice Boots for the $

I was looking for boots for my 15 yr olds. Didn't want to spend too much because they will grow out of them in a season or two. These were on sale around Christmas time and I bought two pair. Kids love them. Very comfortable and a better fit than their old O'Neil boots.

Cheap amazing boot

durable , comfortable, and well worth your money. These boot have protected me in so many ways. I ride track, trail, little bit of enduro and these boots have held up the straps are easier than any boot i've ever had. I get them on and off in a snap. I would recommend these boot for how much their worth. ya theres garner and fox and alpine star tech tens and sidi who make worlds most amazing and comfortable boot but that 500 dollar dent in you wallet you can get five of these boots for one incredible pair so i think well worth it

A: Since these boots do not come in half sizes you will likely need to go up to a size 8. I personally wear a 11.5 shoe and when I run into this issue I will wear a 12 boot with an extra insole inside to make up for the size gap.

A: I'd order a size 8 if your 7.5. I wore a size 10.5 and went to a size 11. Fit perfectly.

Q: I wear size 15 shoes and was wondering if i would fit in size 15 mx boots form Fly?
2 years 11 months ago
here is a kick, i have large cafes and in my old MX boots they wouldnt fit in them at the end of the life span of the boots. Thats the only thing that worries me, and also how long do they last on avg?

A: The size 15 would be for 12.18" (31cm) foot length. Unfortunately I do not have the measurement for the calf sizing of these boots. As far as the lifespan of the boots, that is really going to depend on the use of the boot. From what I have seen these are a good quality entry-level boot.

Q: Are these boots waterproof at all? and how is the fitment on them? i wear size 11?

A: These boots are a little waterproof. And the fitment is quite exact.
MotoSportExpert
MotoSport Staff
Over 3 years ago Location: Portland, OR, USA
A: The fit of these boots is fairly standard. They are not overly wide or overly narrow. If you wear a size 11, then order these boots in size 11 as the fit runs very true. Unfortunately with MX boots, they are not going to be completely waterproof. Just splashing through puddles or in a light rain or shower they will keep you dry. For any reason you submerge them in a puddle or in creek during a crossing over a foot deep or so, you will have wet feet. This will hold true with each and every MX boot out there as none of them are waterproof.

A: Not very waterproof but in sizing I would get one size smaller then normal
yamaharider
Over 3 years ago Location: Ontario, Canada
A: These boots are NOT waterproof no dirt bike boots are waterproof but if you splash in a puddle your feet will not get wet or if your riding in lite rain you feet wont get wet and the sizing is normal if you were a size 11 order a size 11
