Must have for Offroad racing

I purchased this damper and the over bar mount kit for my 2012 KTM 350 XCF. If you have never ran a damper before, it makes a huge difference. The bike is much more stable at speed, wears you out less, and does not deflect when hitting rocks and roots. It allows the suspension to soak up the hits instead of the bars trying to turn and wearing your arms out. Performance is just as good if not better than the scotts/ohlins damper, and customer service is top notch. Do not hesitate to purchase! I now have one on every offroad bike I own.

A: Yes you would need to get the mounting kit separately.

Q: Do you have a mounting kit for this to fit a 2013 Husaberg TE300? Preferably overbar mount.?

A: After speaking with Pro Moto Billet/ Fastway, they dont have a kit specific to the Husaberg. With that being said and the bike being basically the same bike as the 2013 KTM300 XC-W, they said that kit should work just fine based on their research. If any issues do arise with fitment they are more than willing to work with you to find a solution. When ordering this for your 2013 Husbaerg TE300, profile the bike as a 2013 KTM 300 XC-W.

A: No, this stabilizer does not include the mounting hardware. It must be purchased separately. I went ahead and took a look to see if they offered mounting kits for your 2001 KTM 125SX and unfortunately I did not see a listing for your bike. If you call Fastway directly they may be able to help you out though.

A: Unfortunately Fastway does not have an application for your 2001 YZ426F in either over the bar or under the bar. I took a look at other options and it doesn't look we offer any stabilizers for your model. Please give us a call for this application and we will help you out as best we can.

Q: Scott's top clamp fitment?
I have a Scott's top mount clamp setup on my '00 KX250. All i need is the stabilizer and post and i read that Fastway uses Scott's mounting pattern. Will this fit my application?

A: Please see the information below. Fastway was able to directly respond to your question:

"Our stabilizer will definitely mount to a Scotts Over-bar set. Our bolt pattern is the same, though one small thing to note is that Scott's mount is specifically designed so that the turning axis of the stabilizer is positioned directly over the steering axis of the bike. Our stabilizer has a turning axis in a slightly different spot, so you may notice the transfer arm (the metal piece beneath the damper that attaches to the post) will be sliding back and forth a bit on the post's pin. You can get around this small issue by grabbing one of the Fastway Stabilizer mounts. Our above-bar mounts feature an adjustable sliding plate so your stabilizer can be perfectly centered, not to mention they can also mount Scotts stabilizers and most GPR models as well.

Unfortunately though I do not make a post kit for the 00' KX250. Commonly with steel-framed bikes a weld-on post is strongly recommended, the circular head tube on a steel frame bike does not make for a good mounting point for a clamp-style post. At this time Fastway does not offer a weld-on steel post, though one can be acquired from Scotts if you choose to go that route.

And one last detail, while our stabilizer can sometimes be made to mount on some of our competitor's mounts, there are still differences in how kits come together. We use a variety of transfer arms which are dependent on the design of our frame clamps, so our transfer arms are packaged in with our frame clamps. If you do intend on using our stabilizer the transfer arm will need to be special ordered."

A: You will need to select a complete kit in order to mount to your bike, unless you already have a stabilizer installed and are replacing it. There are a few different options on how to mount, so I've included both as some kits to take a look at.
