Best hand guards out there

I have these on my KTM 350 and just installed a set on my CRF150F. I had purchased and installed a set of Acerbis Tri-Fit for the 150. I had a small get-off and the Acerbis hand guards came completely loose and were flopping around (they were tightened properly).

I use a threaded bar insert with the Fastway handguards (on both bikes). I've gone down on the 350 a few times. With the threaded insert and the bar-clamp mount I don't think there is any way they will move.

Highly reccommended.

Havent hit any trees yet but these will hold up real well. I have carmichael bend bars and i cut my bars down so i expected to do some tweaking. The directions offer tips on where to bend in a vice to fit your set up. I had to cutthe whole slotted end off and redrill a new hole cuz my setup is narrow, but they are mounted and strong. Cant wait to go smash a tree

Fastway Hand Guards

I ordered the Fastway hand guards as a replacement for the bent ones on my bike. They bolted right up to the Fastway top triple clamp I already had with no problems. Only two things I would like to see. One is an option of getting the guards alone without the bar clamps. And two, make a color option for the plastic guards to match the color of the bike. You can only get them in red unless you order another set of the plastic guards separately, at an additional cost.

Nice Guards, exceptional quality and construction!

I've used a number of different guards over the years, but none as stout and well made as these Fastways. The fit and quality of construction are far superior to the rest. This is reflected in the get what you pay for.

Great hand protection

Provide great protection and are very durable. They have gone up against a good amount of trees and held up great. The only drawback is if you cut down your bars (for tight woods riding) you will need to modify them due to the inboard fixed mounting point (bar clamp).

I ordered a set of replacement shields from a different vendor but there customer service and shipping times are horrible. It has been ober a week since I ordered them and they are still processing. I buy alot from motosport because of your awesome service, ship times, and great products!!

Q: Fit on 2013 Honda 250L?
2 years 6 months ago
It looks like the bar has to fit to the exact length of the triple to the end of grips. Is this universal hardware, or are they specified per bike and handle bar set?

A: Fastway Fit Handguard System is a universal fitment. It is available for 7/8" or 1-1/8" size handlebars. On a dual sport like your Honda 250L, you may have issues mounting this with all the instrumentation and headlight.

A: Yes, this set up should work perfectly with your Pro-Taper Bars on your '07 Yamaha WR250F. The only modification required would be cutting the ends of the grips to install the bar end mounts on this Handguard system. You may want to check the ends of your Pro Taper handlebars as well as they normally come with small plastic plugs in the ends that would need to be removed to install this set up. No major modifications would be required for installation though.
