Finding the tunability of rear brakes.

Fasst's Rear Brake Return Spring Kit offers tunable pedal resistance and a better overall feel at the pedal. It provides a consistent pedal feel minimizing the "on-off" feel of most rear brakes.

The pedal resistance can be adjusted by how much preload is placed on the spring. The Return Spring Kit also minimizes debris from jamming the master cylinder as well as eliminating the stock return spring that attaches to the pedal.

Rear Brake Pedal Return Spring Kit consists of spring, spring bucket and nut. The Spring Bucket contains the spring as well as seals the master cylinder with the stock rubber dust boot.

  • Size / Color: 6 mm / Black.
  • Tuning the rear brake; creates tunable pedal resistance and improved feel.
  • No more on / off; minimizes the ON / OFF feel of most rear brakes.
  • Adjustable spring preload; spring pre-load determines level of resistance.
  • Keep it clean; minimizes debris from jamming the master cylinder.
  • In the kit: Brake return spring and nut, anodized billet aluminum bucket.

Not good

I bought the brake return spring because I am bad about dragging my toe on the rear brake pedal on my 2010 KTM and boiling the brake fluid. I had hoped that this product would add some extra stiffness to the pedal. It did not. It was supposed to be a replacement for the factory spring but was so weak that I left the factory spring on as well but still cant really tell any difference. It did not do what I hoped it would.

Slushy brake feel be gone

Nice little device to return the brake lever back to home. Provides a nice response that you can feel with your foot. Easy to install.

Good idea

This brake return system is a good idea and
definitely improves feel and modulation
when compared to the OE system. The
parts install is easy and straightforward.

If the kit came with instructions, I would
rate it a five star product.

The installation process should be pretty straight forward on this. You would simply remove your existing rear brake return spring and replace it with this set up.

Here is a link to a video showing the installation process:
