EVS Tru-Motion 2.0:

If a brace has migrated down the leg and the hinges are not aligned with the medial and lateral condyles of the knee, hyperextension cannot be controlled effectively and injury can occur; the TM5+ hinges and RS8 PRO are designed to reduce the risk of that occurring.

Damaged when received, buckles are of poor quality. Returned item, and purchased more expensive pair. Motosport was great with the return, emailed return label, great company to do business with.

Cumbersome and uncomfortable.Cumber some

Difficult to unlatch below the knee. Very difficult. After pulling measurements per instruction, measuring chart recommended a large...should have been an XL.

Most comfortable brace I've put on

Just put my first motos on these braces last weekend. They are by far the most comfortable knee braces I've put on. I had previously purchased the Asterisk Ultra Cell and found they did not fit my leg correctly and were very tough for me to ride in. The Evs R8 Pro went right on and I almost forgot they were different the my trust Thor Force knee gaurds. The brace feels sturdy and like it will hold up in a crash. I also really like that the knee is protected weather your leg is bent or straight unlike most other knee braces I have tried. My only two complaints would be the buckles could use some beefing up, The plastic there seems a little weak. My only other issue was with the hinge lock system. Replacing the shims was easy enough but I only got 2 shims of each lock out degree (0, 10. 15, 20, 30) and the directions say to put the same shim on both sides of the hinge. Other than that these braces are absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move into a set of full braces.

Overall great knee braces. Once you get them adjusted and ride for a few hours you never know you have them on. Having bummed knees for the past year without surgery they help out after riding with little to know pain. Riding enduros they help out with hitting small trees and also with other objects.

Back on the bike

Injured my knee last year and after two surgery's decided to try knee braces. After trying on a lot of different brands I purchases the EVS 8s. I spent an hour setting them up so they were comfortable and the fit was comfortable. My first reaction was these are going to be a pain and uncomfortable to ride with. I put them on and my riding pants over and got my boots bucked up. Had a little trouble with the upper buckel of my boots but a little reajustment of the brace and it was okay. Went riding --WOW after a couple of minutes I did'nt realize I was wearing them. Surprised about how comfortable they were. Rode for a few hours that day and felt great. Knew I had them on but they did not feel any discomfort. I wore long bicycle riding pants under them similiar to the knee cover they sell. I have always worn cycling pants to keep from getting monkey butt and these long onse realy are nice and help keep the brace in place and avoidl all discomfort with the straps. Range of motion is good. Protection is good. Most important comfort was good If you decide to use or feel you need knee brace protection try these and hopefully you will like them. Mike

How do you know what size to get?

For sizing on the knee braces, you need to measure 8" above the center of the knee, and 8" below the center of the knee. You will need to measure the circumference of leg at each of these points. Once you have the measurements you can reference to the size chart that is available just above where you can select the size. This will tell you what size brace you need to order.
