I've been running a Gold 520 MVXZ for almost 3 years now on my zx6r. When it came time to buy a 530 for my cafe racer I didn't waste time looking for something else. My chains from EK have been nothing but reliable. However every chain is subject to the care its given. The people bashing chains claiming they were shot after a 1000 miles and or wrecked their sprockets have no idea what they are talking about. Tighten clean and lube your chain regularly and it will last a long time.

There are many options for chains. They range from suicidaly fragile and inexpensive to response stealingly heavy monstrsities meant for 2000 more ccs of displacement than you have for the humble.cost of your retirement plan.
But ultimately, there are three comparative brands out there people buy the most. I will not name them. They are all good enough, though one of them seem to be somewhat inferior to the others. E/K is not that one. These chains are of superb quality, and excel in any type of street tomfoolery- not that I endorse such, as bikes look better.withtheir fairings intact.
When given to my mechanic to install, he said first off "That's a big buy." He was impressed. After about 300 miles, I'm impressed too. The ride.is smooth, the chain travel is silky over the new sprockets (often a smart buy with new chains), and there's that mild cosmetic factor as well. When people see a colored chain with rivet master coming out of a liter block, quite the statement.
