A: This kit does not include a high beam. Switching to a HID kit will vastly improve your headlights brightness.

A: Everything is in there to hook it up right out of the box. May want some shrink wrap or zip-ties just for cleaner installation.

will these bulbs melt my stock light housing lenses?

A: You would need at least a couple of hundred watts (I think that is the minimum for a stator upgrade).
Most of these HID kits are 35Watt bulbs.
Since stock H4 lo/hi is 35/55 watt, then its actually less power than stock.
An HID bulb does run hot but watts are watts no matter the bulb type so temperatures will be about the same.
