DuraBlue now has the famous Posi*Lock style axle retaining nuts available for non-DuraBlue as well as DuraBlue Axles. These nuts have fewer parts than the O.E.M. nut assemblies and are less sensitive to vibration and harmonics (the physical motions responsible for loosening). They are an excellent addition to any well maintained machine. Please note that unless specified as "steel", the clamping nut will be aluminum.

  • For use with DuraBlue or non-Dura Blue axles.
  • Finer threads for a solid lock you can count on.
  • Vibration proof.
  • Fewer parts than the O.E.M. nut assembly.
  • Less sensitive to vibration and harmonics.

Not exactly stock replacement, but overall good

Item is standard dull machined part, not as picture shows. Stock nuts are 50mm, had to grind down two sides to make it fit my 50mm open end wrench. More of a 51-52mm nut.

Durablue posi lock nut LTR 450

After replacing my carrier bearings twice in just a little over a year I realized the factory lock nut system on the Suzuki LTR 450 is flawed. I had no problem at all with this part it quickly and flawlessly replaced the stock nut and is much easier to install and remove. So far so good have 2 races and couple hard trail rides on the part and no problems.

Get this....

Much better than stock hands down (especially the Honda which I have not been a fan of since they invented theirs in the early 1900's) If your going to replace your axle go ahead and get this. It will make life much better come maintenence time..

What are the chances of this nut backing off?
Does this work like the lonestar antifade lock nuts that are over priced? And is it going to fit my 300ex?

The Locking clip keeps the nut from backing out, thus vibration proof. And according to the list of rides this part fits, your quad is listed.
