"This ended up being a type 1(type A) piston, which is the stock piston from the factory ..." "This ended up being a type 1(type A) piston, which is the stock piston from the factory and is slightly smaller in diamater than a type 2(type B) piston. All replacement pistons should be type 2, since the larger piston will fit in a broken-in cylinder better, unless you've just had your piston replated. It didn't damage anything, but I ended up having poor compression because of the slack fit of the smaller piston. Replaced it with an OEM type 2 and noticed a difference immediatey."
