This was ..." "This piston kit came with almost every thing you need to re build your top end. This was my second top end rebuild, but the first for this bike. the bike runs perfectly now, and seems to have alot more power. I have almost 30 hours on it since the rebuild and so far every thing is running smoothly. I inspected the top end at 25 hours and there were no signs of trouble. This is a great value for the money and I would definately recomend it to anyone doing a top end rebuild."

"I have always used Wiseco pistons in the past and had great luck with them but I had a mechanic suggest I try Vertex. He commented on how well made the product was. I received the Piston kit from MS and everything looked good until I tried to install it in my sons RM85. The wrist pin would not go through the connecting rod because the alignment of the casting was so far off it wouldn't allow the wrist pin bearing to align properly with the connecting rod. Luckily I had a Wiseco kit in my garage which fit perfectly."
